Never tell them you stay at Golden Palm Tree otherwise they will overcharge you. Sad but true. They didn't even scale the fish so I ended up cleaning it while eating. Though the fish squids and prawns I had were fresh but the taste were disappointing. Even the kangkung belacan was a letdown. I ordered a red snapper with sambal... More

The seafood in Bagan Lalang I must say is the best seafood in town, being fresh from the sea. Although I would say the cleanliness could improve further.

you get strips of deer meat! something that's banned in India. 2. The sea food and especially the lobster are excellent. they catch a fish from out of the many that are stored in tanks live, in front of you, cook them and serve. An experience that's quite good. 3. You feel a strong sense of pity for killing that... More

The place for fresh seafood, sounds of the sea, and sunny experiences. Make sure you select your favourite selection of fresh seafood from the corner of the restaurant. A seat near the splashing seafront will offer you a pleasant view during sunset. Their ikan bakar is worth a try. Mussels or lala cooked with chili is good too. Deep fried... More

Tragedy. When we saw the crowd, it must be good. When we asked how long will we get our orders, they mentioned about 30 mins...ok we waited. After 45 mins, we asked again and lo and behold the Manager said its normal on a weekend to get food in about 1 hour. Dishonest lots! The place, dirty, smelly, blocked sink... More

Wonderful food served. I like the idea of us choosing our own fish/prawns/squids. The fried squid and steamed seabass is very delicious. The price is reasonable too! would love to come back here whenever I stay at Golden Palm Tree.

Disappointed with the seafood lunch at Bagan Lallang Sepang Restaurant called Ala Hai (Malay Seafood) next to the fish stall and the only seafood rest avail during lunch hour. Prawns came charred...reject it and ask them to make new one (Over cooked but not charred the 2nd time). Crabs came without its roe. Steam fish but they didn't scale the... More
