Been here twice and the last time was in Dec 2013, attending a client's daughter's wedding luncheon. Very authentic Malay atmosphere and dining. Not bad at all.

The restaurant has a myriad choices of delicious local Malay food. I like the food and have been lunching there many times. The price is reasonable for a place in KL. But the menu is always the same during lunch time. You might get fed up eating there every day. I've never been there during dinner time and can't comment... More

it has a wide variety of steamboat dishes as well as desserts at an affordable price (am sorry not quite sure the exact amount). but it's just a nice place to have dinner with friends/family and you can sit back and just talk/relax while waiting for the food to go "down" your belly... =P

food served was slow, and the worst part is, it is situated at such an odd place. even though it has a beautiful setting, especially the facade, the food is quite normal.

Tupai Tupai Restaurant & Cafe is a restaurant in a Malay Kampung style setting that serves predominantly Malay food. Lunch buddy had rice with chicken cooked with chilli, daging masak... More

Love the concept, love the food, love the dessert especially the yummy trifle. I normally come during lunch time and have the option to order ala carte or choose from the many options at the buffet table.
