a rare choice of setting and food

Tamarind Springs is famous for its ambience and atmosphere but I had to give a thumbs up to its Vietnamese food as well. Had Perch and Lobster and i love it. A little bit on the pricey side but a good restaurant nonetheless. Would love to come back here.

Seemed off the beaten track but well worth a visit. Great setting and wonderful food with courteous staff.

The restaurant has nice setup and excellence service by the staffs. The food was average despite of being a bit pricey. I would expect little bit more for the price I've paid. Not worth for second visit.

Went there last week for dinner After getting lost because the taxi dropped us off at the wrong location, walking for 30min on a dark road, then finally hitch hiking our way there we finally arrived 1hour late Setting is nice, staff is nice as well except one waiter who was being SO pushy and trying to up sell as... In the past we visit Tamarin spring frequently, We had friends over and we want to bring them to a place what we thought is a bit different , but the moment we went in we regret and we understand why the restaurant we so empty, hardly any body there, We went to the menu list what was not what... This place is firmly in the top 3 of KL restaurants for me. It is a refreshing place where you really feel you are having a meal in SE Asia, surrounded by forest, gardens and a few monkeys sometimes. The restaurant is set in a beautiful open wooden pavilion, with local decoration and offering food from a variety of SE... More

What a magical place by night. Although on the outskirts of kl you think you could be in a jungle setting, in fact the waiter assured us you see monkeys and possibly snakes in the day. The food matched the setting, fantastic. The manager helped us chose and advised us on the quantity needed, I think we would have over... More

Tamarind Springs is a beautiful place in what seems to be a jungle setting (OK, we have only seen it at night but we loved it!). It is a most elegant and romantic restaurant, the tables are not crammed together, the service on our visit was excellent and friendly and the food was really good. It is under the same... More

We went there for dinner. There are 2 restaurants, one thai-malay and one indian - chinese. The indian - chinese has better view of the golf but it has very spicy food. The thai - malay is downstairs, and the food is not so spicy. Beed redang highly recommended. The service was really good. The waiters knew to explain the... More
