Good street food

You must visit this street at night and decide for yourself if u like it. Food where we ate was terrific. Was called Chu Chua or similar. Yes u might get hassled by locals selling wipes but that's part of this place. Overall it is a busy vibrant colourful street with ok food at ok prices. There are... read more

alan Alor undoubtly is the best place if you look for street food...the ambience is good with a lot of tourists, the food is awesome. However there is one thing that you should be aware is the food stall that sell various satay like suki. There's a lot vendor that sell suki satay, but be aware the one that located near the... More

No sensible locals will now go to Jalan Alor. You get harassed as you walk down the street (and while you are eating) and cars are allowed to go down that narrow path with tables and chairs just inches away. The food is expensive. I ordered a Kajang Satay and any local person knows the taste. The satay had a... More

love the food but a little pricey, dislike the congestion and noisy promoters...open till late! Great for supper! Recommended Restaurant : Wong Ah Wah Seafood And bbq chicken wings right at the end of the slope on the left.

We had kangkong, steam fish, omelette, BKT. RM78. BKT was not nice. Steam fish was good. If Jalan Alor is to be a food street that represents MY, it needs to improve. I have tasted better ones in MY. Overall, worth visiting if you want street seafood and feel the hood.

great atmosphere match by wonderful variety of food offerings. One thing, the city of KL simply MUST get cars off Jalan Alor in the evenings. Surely all deliveries can be done during the day. Cars & their exhaust gases way too close to diners stop this being amongst the best of its kind...

The street was heaving when we headed out for dinner at 7pm. Any of the street vendors seemed great, we settled on restauran dragon view, which was a great pick-we had the sesame pork ribs, kway-teo and greens. Delicious food and great atmosphere. I definitely recommend if you are in KL.

Jalan Alor is everything you would expect from a crowded food street in Asia! Lots of people, lots of colour, lots of noise and some really great food offerings. Based on previous reviews read on tripadvisor, we elected to try the chicken wings at WAW Restaurant at the end of Jalan Alor - and I mean right at the end... More
