This restaurant is owned by the same crowd that owns The Spice of India in KLCC. The restaurant is really well decked out but i have to say the food was extremely grim.......we ordered byriani rice, allo gobi, chicken tikka, murgh chicken and a plain naan, plus water and mango lassi..........the mango lassi was horrible, did not taste anything like... I had ordered pineapple juice and found it was stale. This was changed but no apology tendered for serving stale juice. Pricewise this restaurant is more expensive as compared to equivalent restaurants and quality notch below. Shall never visit the place again.

Visited Royal India for lunch to realise place was completely empty. One staff sitting in a corner with laptop. Very rude and arrogant when we asked about certain cooking. When we asked to see chef, he mentioned that chef was busy, even though not even one guest in the restaurant. Name of the person was Harjeet Singh, a 20 something... More

This restaurant looks great and is in a lovely new setting. The first warning should have the lack of customers on a Saturday night, but I put that down to the prices being considerably higher than other restaurants in the area. Another strange revelation was that it had no credit card facilities and only accepted cash. However it was new... More

Went there today with my wife during the weekend for dinner. Had a row of horrible encounters during our visit: - We arrived at 9pm, the waiter said they close at 10pm and can still take orders. - Around 9.15pm, suddenly the aircond switched off. None of the workers bothered about it. - The foods are expensive, but the flavour... More

The waiters behaved very novice in the so called up market dining place. 2 of my mains were mixed up, they practically dont understand the menu well. Ambiance and food of high standards.

A nice place for a romantic date with your loved one or a business lunch, decor is tasteful and ambience is relaxed. Service was fantastic and the food though not out-of-this world is above average and even better than Spice of India - the Indian Restaurant at Suria KLCC that is crowded with slow service and same price tag. Though... More

One of the few upscale restaurants which serve authentic Indian food. ... Good choice of dishes for vegetarians, great seafood and an out of this world naan garlic bread. One of the few upscale restaurants, Spice of India, stunningly decked out dishes, serves some of the most eclectic grill food around,
