Picked this place at random after walking up and down street. Packed with locals and tourists alike. Get over the plastic tables and enjoy good food. Was a good choice. Second night we went to another place, and gave up after being sat down for 2 minutes and being pestered by every waiter in the place forcing us to choose.... More

After a few stroll down Jalan Alor we came across this resto which we had in our list. We ordered the usual Satay, chicken wings, Hokkian Mee, chilli cockles. The food came very fast despite full house and peak hours. Food was ok except Hokkian Mee was too oily and tasteless. Chicken wings were a bit sweet.

Best food in Jalan Alor. Best beer in Malaysia. Good service by very nice staff. Have been here many times and I am always very pleased with the service and the food. Vegetables are very good, same with grilled fish

definitely worth visiting if you are in KL. I know that the 'greeters' in the street can be quite insistent - they all are along this street - however this place has great food, great atmosphere and great prices. Do not miss this.

We're in KL for 3 nights, have eaten here for the first 2 and will most probably be back again tonight! So many delicious-sounding dishes to choose from and everything we've had so far has been wonderful. Possibly not the cheapest place in KL, or even Jalan Alor, but for those of us used to European (especially British!) prices, a... More

Imagine a hawkers food market where somebody puts all the chefs in individual kitchens under one roof. Where all their specialities are put onto one menu and then the hawkers get you to sit down and bring you all your choices. This is the real deal!! We had 5 choices with rice. Lemon chicken; number 131; Bok choy in garlic... More

This was our first trip to KL so we thought of asking the locals for suggestions on where to get good but reasonably-priced Malaysian dishes. They pointed us to Jalan Alor, a street known for its hawker food stalls, and specifically to Cu Cha Restaurant for the char kway teow, a flat rice noodle dish popular in SE Asia. My... More
