Following my first rather disappointing visit where the tepppanyaki was kind of oily I was served by Head Chef Kenny himself. Having heard my moanings on the teppanyaki Chef Kenny personally fried up a serving of garlic rice on the teppanyaki and it was indeed outstanding - even for such a simple dish. The sashimi was exquisitely fresh and tasty.

I tried the seafood teppanyaki set, the overall taste was kind of average and oily. Perhaps teppanyaki is not their prime speciality.

Whilst it is located inside the hotel, it would be convenient for those who are staying in the hotel to visit this restaurant. However, if you want to pay this much, then Fukuya serves better food. I tried several times at Hanare but it has consistently served sub-standard food. The service was good nonetheless. Clean too.
