Vibrant street food street

Any foodie will enjoy being here. The restaurants and stalls that line the street aren't really fancy or clean and shiny looking. However, what the restaurants might lack in aesthetics, they definitely make up for it in taste. At first, the smells, noise, and number of people might be a bit... read more

I'm a biiiig food person and I was so sad that I wasn't able to explore more on this food street. There are a lot of interesting things you can find here and if you are an adventurous eater, I'm sure it will not take long enough before you can find that next dish you've been meaning to try. It... Spoiled for choice, we walked the length of the brightly lit street and slowly made our way back to try to decide where to sit. It's more a matter of who will welcome you and where you feel comfortable sitting rather than menu choice as the stalls are basically all the same. We wanted a wonton soup which wasn't on... More

If you are a street food maniac, then this road is a heaven on earth for you. You can find almost everything. This time I give a try to king coconut ice, newest in town dessert from thai. Taste good but nothing special, just simply coconut ice cream with toppings of your choice. The price is quite expensive, 10 ringgit... More

Jalan Alor is generally a tourist spot. Food here are well-known for the variety instead of quality. However, there is one that stands out - Noi Thai Seafood, albeit slightly pricey. It is located close to the north end of the street from Bukit Bintang. Being a Thai food enthusiastic, I had in fact made the effort to try out... More

Beautiful street food corner that comes to life in the evenings. Fresh seafood and lot of local food to choose from. But the food is average. Its more of a touristy "to see" place than one to indulge in. Very reasonable prices but just one time visit place. Been there twice and wasn't impressed with the food. If at all,... More

We sit where it's air conditioned and the man there is very helpful. After ordering with him he goes off to the various food stalls and drops your order. So you may get about 3 different people coming with your order. Depending on what you order, some will ask for the money straight away and others may ask after all... More

Street stalls selling delicious durians, mangosteens & fresh young coconut for the coconut water. You are given disposable gloves & tissues for keeping your hands from the strong smelling creamy durian.
