Jalan Alor is generally a tourist spot. Food here are well-known for the variety instead of quality. However, there is one that stands out - Noi Thai Seafood, albeit slightly pricey. It is located close to the north end of the street from Bukit Bintang. Being a Thai food enthusiastic, I had in fact made the effort to try out... More

Beautiful street food corner that comes to life in the evenings. Fresh seafood and lot of local food to choose from. But the food is average. Its more of a touristy "to see" place than one to indulge in. Very reasonable prices but just one time visit place. Been there twice and wasn't impressed with the food. If at all,... More

We sit where it's air conditioned and the man there is very helpful. After ordering with him he goes off to the various food stalls and drops your order. So you may get about 3 different people coming with your order. Depending on what you order, some will ask for the money straight away and others may ask after all... More

Street stalls selling delicious durians, mangosteens & fresh young coconut for the coconut water. You are given disposable gloves & tissues for keeping your hands from the strong smelling creamy durian.

Best place for late night Malaysian street food. Mostly are Chinese style dishes. Popular amongst locals for post weekend drinks after Changkat and recommended to foreigners. Open till wee hours of the morning.

If you want to feel that you are visiting Asia ... And are not that interested in air-conditioned shopping malls, or hotels then this is the place to go. Outside , noisy , smokey , Asian food vendors trying to persuade you to go to their stall ... This is truly Asia ( though much more for visitors !! )... More

OK its awesome but here is the deal. Only go to a place with a small menu. This means the produce is fresher and better quality. We headed to fat bros most nights where you get fresh skewers of meat and veg that can been fried, boiled or bbq'd. Full of interesting stalls and an eye opener!

Local rarely dine here. I am local. We came here around 8pm during weekday. It is crowded, smokey, noisy, congested, cars, bikes, pedestrians, tables, chairs and food. Eat all you can. Food is fast, tasty, yummy. All type of Malaysian is available. Satay, chicken rice, grilled fish, coconut water, oysters. Pay when food arrives. Sweat while eating. Typical street food, typical...
