Do not miss!

Right from the menu to the ambience...you can feel the history! The food was amazing, the staff was really friendly and helped us pick the best selling dishes. Interesting mix of drinks. You will want to go back a second time!

I popped in for a quick meal at the end of the day. The service was friendly and prompt. The food was served quickly and was quite good, I wouldn't say it was excellent. It was lovely to eat there as the ambience of the place is something else and makes a change from the sterile plastic services so common... More

The interior is great, it made me feel like a Tintin in China building coming alive :) The food was really good and relatively cheap. The staff was very friendly. It might me a abit diffiuclt to find so make sure you check out first on internet where it is and once you are in Chinatown just ask for Jalan... More

This is probably the best food we had in Kuala Lumpur and it's cheap also so definitely worth the visit! The interior is very old fashioned with a old China charm to it. It is kept very clean and tidy. Some members of staff were nice and friendly but the manager was very grumpy. Could do with better service. Bear... More

This was my second time visiting Old China Cafe, my first being around 6-7 years ago. It hasn't changed much, and the food is still as delicious as I remember it being. We shared 4 dishes between 3 of us, and found the portions to be plenty and the tastes were excellent. The surroundings of the restaurant are very pleasant... More

The food was ok, but nothing special, and the service was a bit poor, plus the beer was warm. I don't think it deserves to be rated so highly on TA, you can have a far more interesting experience eating street food.

Really liked the atmosphere more than the food. I tried the ikan bilis and it was fine. The waiter;s English was excellent which is quite rare in Malaysia.

Regular diner here for lunch when I was studying at a nearby college in 09....a real favourite of ours as the food has always been very good along with the location, ambience and old style of the building with some history thrown in. This visit brought my niece for lunch as she on a flight stop over from Oz...selection of... More

A delicious meal in a lovely building with a pleasant atmosphere and great service. I had Pai Tee, which you fill yourself, followed by Beef Rendang, both were really good, the Rendang in particular! All washed down with a pot of their Jasmine tea, very good!

This is a lovely historic restaurant in Chinatown. We had been searching for our favourite dish (beef rendang) and were fortunate to find this place, the rendang was delicious! Yes, you can get really good street food nearby but this is a charming place to eat. Our mains were 23 ringgits but a 10% service charge and government tax 6%... More
