I was fooled by a good review sone where on the net. Little I knew, the terrible reviews here exactly deserved by this so called restaurant. I went with my family after lunch hours and way before dinner time, the place was almost empty. The hostess was leaning on the door like she wants to sleep. After we sat, she... More

Spice of India has several locations very close to each other, and they are all pretty good. The food is good although if you like spicy food it does lack some of the sense of adventure that I think Indian cuisine is known for. It's hard to get them to really spice up your dish. That said, service is pretty... More

I thought I might be the only one who would be writing this review. Surprised to find out so many people have unknowingly suffered in this restaurant before us. I have to agree with most of all those who have “written off “.This post is probably just another “feather in the cap” My first and probably last dine at Spice... More

I would never go to this place again. We were 6 people and went for dinner at 9:45. We ordered a few dishes since the last order is at 10. We got vegetables which were burnt. When we returned them, the response from the waiter was "The chef tastes everything he cooks, and he thinks this is fine. I will... More

I had dinner here twice recently, and found the food to be very good, the ambience to be good, and the service to be quite good – a bit hit and miss depending on if you can catch the eye of any of the waiters…

The restaurant is located in Pavilion Mall of Kuala Lumpur. If you are missing India or Pakistan then go and eat there. Nice environment and great food. A little expensive though.

Their menu had mostly north indian. Being a south indian i was quite disappointed. Quite expensive as well. The dinner for a couple costed 150 ringgits approx. We had been to the outlet at Pavilion, they are also opening a new branch at KLCC Surya Mall(twin towers).

I don't think I could have went wrong eating at any of the many restaurants near the Prince Hotel. At the Spice of India, struck up a conversation while reading the outside menu, where I made my choices. Delicious!

I ordered the following: Tomato Shorba - pretty decent Dal Makhani - horrible; this is a North Indian Dal, to put Rasam powder in it is like putting a spoonful of salt in Tiramisu. It just doesn't belong there Raita - horrible again. Not sure where the yogurt was coming from Rice - decent Cachumber - laced in too many... More
