Was lucky to be taken to this restaurant recently. Dishes are delicious with very fresh ingredients. Great hummus, tabbouleh, falafel and mushroom & arugula salad. Also, had a grilled chicken dish which came with chips which was a little out of place but their grilled lamb was tender and tasty. It is easy to over order as a lot of... More

If you want to “escape” from asian cuisine and you are tired from shopping at Pavillion, Al Amar is the suggested place. Nice ambiance, good service and the food is excellent. Although they don’t list alcoholic drinks in their catalog they do serve draft beer.

We found this gem on the sixth floor (I think) of the Pavilion shopping mall. It was like an international selection of fine dining: there was Thai, Korean, Lebanese, Japanese, Chinese, etc. restaurants. We ordered a mixed grill, along with muhumarrah and a squid saad, and it was delicious. As a bonus, prices much cheaper than Chicago.

We celebrated a friend's daughter 21st birthday party here on these terrace of this nicely appointed Lebanese restaurant. Food was very good but not exceptional. Ambience was perfect with flowing tent-like curtains & lighting. Service was excellent. The young people (all 20 of them) had a nice corner table where they could socialize & and behave like young people at... More

As in all the restaurants in The Pavillions it was extremely noisy. Don't go for a quiet meal! Nice kibbe and my Shwarma was very nice ...... I asked for it to be served with tahini instead of garlic mayo. Manager said ( he was waiting on our table ) tahini is for beef ..... But I like it on... More

One of the best middle-eastern restaurant in the capital. Broad menu to choose from. Staffs are friendly, and situated in a excellent location.

It is one of the best Arabian restaurants in Kuala Lumpur. Their appetizers are very good and way better than other Arabian restaurants. The service is decent but we had lunch there and it was nearly empty at that time.

Located at Pavilion Mall, The outdoor tables have a very nice view of Bukit Bintang Street . The services and food quality are excellent . The prices are high compared to other restaurants, however it is worth visiting if you are looking for a good arabic cuisine.

Middle eastern cuisine is one of my favourites and after a lengthy stay in KL, a welcome change from Chinese and Indian. Based on its award recommendations, we decided to try out Al Amar. We got an outside balcony table; nice decor inside and outside, unfortunately currently marred (through no fault of the restaurant) by a building site and multiple... More
