Was introduced by my brother who swears it's the best restaurant in bangsar that serves kampung food... it is managed and owned by one THE most renowned chefs in our country btw. Love the selection of food.. so variable and all under one roof.. live music isn't exactly Hard Rock cafe-ish but fun to listen to. A little pricey i... More

we were here for 4 days in a row, first by accident then we just couldn´t stop. The restaurant is in a house very traditional and their patios full of greenery. There are 3 buffets, lunch, high tea and dinner. The fist was the high tea, however we got to taste a lot of very nice dishes. We discovered that... More

I had a friend visiting from overseas and took him here to experience authentic Malay food. We loved the setting, ambiance and the attentiveness of the staff (who took the trouble to rearrange the seating so that we could have a table inside (air-conditioned) despite the fact that we didn't have a booking). We went for the buffet spread so... More

I finally make it to the restaurant after long planning to dine in the talked about spot. So I ordered my self a laksa, banana fritters and some other food which I cant remember for my friend. They are just average and nothing really special about their food. I could have something better like that in KL with much cheaper.... More

We were in KL recently and decided to give this place a try. By the time we reached ard 3.30pm the staff told us that buffet for lunchtime was just over... we could still however order the lauk-pauk that we want and be served as ala-carte dishes. We ordered 3 types of dishes for 6 pax (there were 8 of... More

I was really torn between giving this a 2 or a 3 rating...The food was totally disappointing here, most of the food greasy, very pungently fishy (Chef - go easy on the sambal, yah?) and the flavours were quite indistinguishable between the dishes. Although it was a work lunch, I seem to recall a fortune being spent on various Malaysian... More

The highlights of the menu is that the cofounder (who also is the chef) wishes to share his homemade kampung Malay food that was taught to him by his grandmother back in the days when he was a kid. I've got to be frank - the place is really one of the best to offer all the variety of Malay-styled... More

This is a fabulous spot to try out Malaysian cuisine without spending all your money on one dish. You have the option of having the buffet or just ordering off the menu. Totally recommend the buffet - so many delicious options. My husband who isn't the biggest fan of Malaysian cuisine even enjoyed himself, helping himself to several rounds of plates!... More

I have been here many times and it was never a dissapoinment. It serves Malay authentic dishes located in Bangsar. It is jointly owned by a famous celebrity chef, Chef Ismail and our astronaut, Dato’s Sheikh Muzaffar. Most of the time, Chef Ismail personally welcomes his customers and chatted casually with them. This personal touch is so sweet and something... More
