Came here on a Sunday after lunch hours at abt 4pm. Although tge croud wasn't much but all the waiters seem to ignore us. We decided to leave after about 5 minutes. As we got up, only then they realized and got serving quickly. The food was good. The basic banana leaf side dish selections were authentication. I liked the... More

The place is basic but has a good variety of South Indian dishes. Food range from a buffet to a on the wall menu. Service is fast. Most servers speak very little English or Malay. Try the Banana leaf rice with curry ( Veg or Non veg). They have a inside air conditioned sitting on the first floor.

if u happen to be there go upstair, totally different food fr downstair. only for lunch. even without the additional side dishes their basic Rm7 banana leave set is very substancial. not very authentic tamil nadu fare but very tasty. the fish curry is more Goa influence n the mutton dalcha is northern.

Situated in Bangsar Village in western part of KL, which is a yuppie type area, this corner restaurant serves meals all day, South Indian taste. Open plan restaurant and partially open-air. Meals are prepared and served pretty quickly. Menu is up on the wall above the cooking area where chefs prepare the orders. Banana leaf meals are up stairs (simply... More

still rate this spot the best banana leaf eatery in bangsar. there is another famous place across the road but this place tops it due to its better service and friendly staff. Do ensure to make your way to the upstairs restaurant as the bottom on in devis is rather average. It is always full during lunch hours. Finger licking... More

Went to the venue with a friend to try out something new. The food was delicious and affordable. Definitely would suggest the place to try out if you're visiting Kuala Lumpur or if you want to try out banana leaf rice.

Finally got around to stopping by to have their much vaunted banana leaf rice. I thought the various curry sauces to go with the rice were quite good - I tried the crab curry and fish curry. Not as spicy as some places, which is a plus or minus depending on how much heat you prefer. I personally thought it... More

Devi's Corner is fantastic! We sat downstairs, in the open air restaurant. Having never been there before, I thought the easiest way to order dinner for the three of us would be to just have a look at what was coming out of the kitchen and tandoor. The waiter was amused, but obliging, and in no time he and I... More

Among the jaunts for banana leaf (South Indian) this is tops for authentic food. All the curries are excellent but the signature curry is the Malabar fish curry . The salt-fish, crab and sambar curry are also good. Have not tried their chicken or fish from the curries only serving pans s The condiments are generous - fried stuff like... More

We've had better tasting food at lower prices compared to just average tasting and ridiculously priced Indian food at this restaurant. The combination of steamed white rice, scramble eggs and a piece of curry fish cost me a bomb - above RM10. Really! the same combination at another place would cost less. No price list of the lunch food items... More
