Good

I'm not sure why this restaurant gets so much hype, I've eaten here a few times and it's similar to other Mamak style places in terms of food and maybe a tiny bit pricier (still cheap) because of it's location. I came here for the tandoori chicken as it was highly recommended, and it was good, but... read more

I brought family from overseas to try out the banana leaf here and to compare it to other banana leaf restaurants in the area. We dined upstairs which offered more comfortable surroundings with air conditioning. Unfortunately when we arrived the area was less than comfortable with uncleared tables, a clueless cashier and droves of people waiting for a table with... More

I love the tosai here and I always come on weekends and it's always full if not almost full. There's a vendor selling fruits in this restaurant as well which I get a whole cut mangoes for rm2.50

If Karl Marx is to be believed, we are heading for the class-less society. No more workers or expropriators, only equals. There have been attempts made. Sad to say, with limited success. A more promising approach is made by dear Devi with her corner shop in Bangsar: the furniture of the restaurant shows the sense of frugality which may be... More

If ur looking to have good Banana Leaf lunch, this is the right place. You will have a variety of curries especially my favourite crab curry. You also have a variety of side dishes and freshly fried fish /meat/cuttle fish. A little expensive if compared to other shops. Service can be very poor during peak hours.

If you want incredible food at an inexpensive price, this is the place for you. There are no fancy frills or gimmicks but plenty of flavor filled, incredible tasting foods. This will have to be one of the unknown but amazing place in KL. We have always received fantastic service. This restaurant is a must if you are visiting KL.

The banana leaf is usually available upstairs daily from lunch time onwards.. The curries are absolutly amazing.. I highly recommend the crab and madras fish curry. Be warned that you may take sometime to get a seat and be served.. as the seats are limited and sharing tables sometimes is unavoidable, but you will be all contented after your big... More

it was formerlly located where now Chawan is. it is still at a corner shop and you can have your banana leaf upstairs. they have still maintained the standard of their food. they have pre cooked food all laid out and you choose what you want and it is billed accordingly. For banana leaf you are given the normal rice... More

This is a great place to get in a hearty meal any time of the day or night on a tight budget. Sit outside down stairs and watch the world go by.

Very overrated restaurant, you can get all the food served here at the next door 'mamak'. Nothing sets them apart. So I don't get all the hype it's not like they trademarked a special sauce.
