Banana leaf Indian food

Maybe one of the best banana leaf restaurant in town. Praised by the locals, and in a very nice yet busy neighborhood, in Bangsar.

..has got to be Devi's. Not only coz their all you can eat banana leaf, also because I've had the best tosai and Capati here as well. It's my favorite go to Indian food joint whenever I'm in the area. Even when I'm not, I'd drag myself on weekends and hangout with friends here. At night there's a satay stall... More

Forget Kanna. This place, to me, is the best for banana leaf. Parking is difficult, esp on weekends, but it's worth the hassle. Service can also be slow when it's busy. But the food!!! As an Indian, I find it the closest thing to home cooked authentic South Indian food. You get alot more bang for your buck, and the... More

"As seen on TV" this Indian restaurant offers tandoori I didn't try. My choice was for rice with vegetables. Spiced mildly for those (me) not used to this kind of cuisine. I have seen the banyan loaf tree set also, but didn't feel any reason to choose it. Open space where you sit under a roof and got fans....but still... More

Came here with friends to try the famous banana leaf rice. It's tasty - quite cool it's all served on a large banana leaf in place of a plate. The crab curry was our favourite.

this is the place to go if you are craving for a nice banana leaf meal. the taste is so similar to home cooking. Gets a bit crowded on weekends & some of the special menus will be gone by 2pm. so make sure you are in early to enjoy the special menus & veggies.

Used to be THE hangout/mamak in the Bangsar Telawi area, now it's just a messy-stinky place selling overpriced mamak food. Check out Raj Banana Leaf restaurant which is just a few minutes walk away. A whole lot cleaner and reasonably priced food

Price-wise, Devi's is mid-range. Service was a lil slow upstairs but understandable on a Saturday afternoon. Food was good. Our tenggiri-fish slice was fresh, the butter chicken was flavorful. I will definitely come again but perhaps after 3 p.m. to avoid having to wait for free seats. Wait-staff would also be more responsive when the crowd thins.

Good, easy and cheap Indian food served on the corner of a street in Bangsar. They do not have a menu, but list the dishes on the wall inside the restaurant. You can order satay as well.

Well with little regard to what others have written, I thought the service exemplary, prices very reasonable and perhaps most importantly, some of best vegetarian Indian style food I have eaten
