Great longstanding Bangsarian institution.

When most mention Indian food in Bangsar, Sri Nirwana usually springs to mind but having grown up in this neighbourhood, I still remember Devi's when she single handedly ran a hawker stall selling Indian food about 20 odd years ago. The fact that Devi's is still going strong is a testament to this... read more

My daughter had been before and said we should try it. We went upstairs into the air conditioned restaurant which was set out with cloth napkins etc. A little bit more upmarket than any of the other banana leaf eateries we had been to. They came with the add one which were delicious and I had a dry mutton dish... More

We had our first banana leaf lunch the here because one of the gang. . From the extended group had issues with nirvana maju. And no the complaint was not the food, so be rest assured. Banana leaf is served upstairs on the second floor and you get there via a narrow staircase at the side of the restaurant. Clearly... More

In Malaysia the trend of employing foreigners who can neither speak the local language nor familiar with the cultural nuances made me to face this interesting episode. Went to Devi's corner for banana leaf lunch. Asked for sambar( Dhall curry). The waiter poured a curry looked like Dhall curry, but on tasting found it was actually Kerala fish curry. When... More

I found out about this place after coming across the numerous rave reviews. So we decided to try it out. We found the place easily and it was crowded the night we went. We sat down on the first floor and ordered the banana leaf set meal. We were expecting a quick service and warm food but we were very... More

because an Indian friend of us was staying in Kuala Lumpur, we decided to visit Devi's Corner. Voted as one of the best Indian restaurants by Time Out Magazine. The restaurant is also one of the cheapest we ever ate in Kuala Lumpur, which is nice for a change. The food is very tastefull, but don't come here for having... More

Don't let the decor deceive you. Very plain and simple. But the food is so worth it. Each item presented on the banana leaf was very tasty and we just could not get enough of the fish cake and onion curry. The service was good too. Must do for a local experience!

I went to this place after seeing it advertised in my hotel tv channel for places to eat. It's known for its banana leaf meals so I decided to try that out. It was pretty difficult ordering as the waiters didn't speak much English. However managed to order few things such as crab curry and fish curry which were actually... More

Was pleasantly surprised with the food at Devi's the other day. I'm referring to the upstairs restaurant. Had the banana leaf, and between the 15 of us pretty much orders all the curries ( and there are quite a few) the fried fish and it was actually good. Kudos and hope they keep it up😀

Thevis corner does a good choice for rice and dishes. The set banana leaf meal is upstairs, but you can self serve during lunch downstairs. Personally I prefer sitting on the ground floor as its more spacious. The food and the service are both good. It would be good if they offered some more vegetarian options like a veggie mutton...
