nice food and big portions

We were really happy with this grill. It is a modern take on a traditional dotonbori, so the kitchen is open and you can watch them cook. The tables have a grill in the middle so your food stays warm after it is delivered. When they ask say you want all the toppings :-)

We had seen Chibo earlier & indeed the queue was insane. Later on, it was 10pm, we are full but still insist to try the best okonomiyaki since we about to left Osaka the next morning. We waited for an hour before the staff passed the menu. We choose the best seller okonomiyaki & unfortunately because we forced to eat... More

The basic okonomiyaki was good, the one that ranked as number 1 in their menu (can't recall the actual name), but another one with noodles in undercooked and tasteless. So just go for the "numeber 1". The place meanwhile is spacious and the service was good. The shop is very well organized and systematic. Long queue but very fast that... More

I really liked this restaurant despite the queue to get in. Fortunately there are about 5 floors, so the queues go pretty quickly, but still expect to wait! Atmosphere is great inside and they play cool music. Staff were friendly and the good was good. think I prefer Hiroshima style okomiyaki though sorry.

The dish itself may not get any better although Im personally not that excited. It was a great experience to sit by the "counter" where you could enjoy the view og having your okonomiyaki prepared. Staff is very nice and efficient. It is definitely worth a visit!

I did not enjoy the okonomiyaki at Chibo. I had the Hiroshima style with seafood and the center was very mushy/undercooked, the sauce was overpowering and the seafood disappeared somewhere in it all and I couldn't really taste it. Otherwise the staff was nice, service was great, sitting at the counter was a lot of fun, watching the chefs prepare... More

So my husband really wanted to try this and I was very skeptical because it looked strange and heavy on the sauce. However, it was so good! We got the lunch for two and we received yakisoba noodles, the dotonbori okonomiyaki, a salad, and an omelet wrapped pork. We ate every bit of it. The menu does have english details... More

We were there in the evening for supper. We had seat by the window, so we could see the river (channel) through the window. We ordered okonomiyaki and waited more than 30 minutes. Okonomiyaki was servered and we could find much egg amounts than seafoods. It was on saturday evening, almost of guests were japanese. Smoking is not prohibited in... More

Stumbled across this place looking for food in dotonbiri. Very happy with our find. There was a queue inside, always a good sign, although we didn't have to wait very long before being taken up the elevator and seated. There were several different options to choose from as well as some starters. Everything is cooked right in front of you... More

Based on recommendations from Bento.com we ate here. It was a fun experience but we probably ordered the wrong dish as I would have preferred a dish with no soba.
