Good HOT or COLD

While walking around the outdoor mall, I noticed a long line at this bakery and the smell alone was just unbelievable...Then I noticed a sign for a cheesecake for just around 6 bucks. I stood in line for about 15 minutes thinking it was just for a slice but it was for the whole cake. Delicious... read more

If you want American style cheesecake go to America, this Japanese style cheesecake is the bomb. It is light, fluffy and melt in your mouth like a souffle, it has a mild sweet eggy flavor with some raisins on the bottom. They are so light its dangerous as you can eat one so easily. especially when you would pay twice... More

This a must try cheese cake while in Osaka. we were walking around Namba and stumble upon a long queue and out of curiosity we went and see and found out they sell cheesecake. We join the queue and we hear the bell ringing and I can see that hot freshly bake cheesecake are out and within less then 15... More

We had one of this every night while we were in Osaka. That's how good it is. Japanese cheese cake is different. Soft...not firm. It simply melts in the mouth. The texture and test is just right....simply delightful. At Yen 648odd...it can't go wrong. Great for a snack anytime of day.

I went to search for this shop as it always get a mention on Osaka cheesecakes reviews. It is good but not for a cheesecake but for a chiffon.. it is light and fluffy. I wss disappointed as I was expecting a real cheesecake but at least I tried something new. There is another name that keeps popping on review..... More

We came here with a recommendation from my Japanese friend who loves cheesecake and raved about it. She says that they are well known in Osaka for their cheesecake. However, Japanese cheesecake is definitely different and is not firm or cake-like at all. It was very fluffy & light and tasted extremely eggy. There are raisins baked in the bottom... More

I was so excited to find a place that did cheesecake that was gluten free, only to buy an entire cake that is more like an egg souffle. If you are looking for New York style cheesecake, this is not it. If you are looking for the taste of cheese and cream, this is not it. It's neither cheesy, nor... More

So soft that it literally melts in our mouth, the fluffy cheesecake at this Nanba institution (look for the "Coffee Sanbashi" sign) is perfect for us but not for Americans used to heavier texture. After orderly queueing for 10 minutes (never mind the rude staff), we bought two boxes and yes they are outrageously good and not way too sweet.... More

Read reviews about this place and made sure to get it when we were at Daimaru Umeda. We lined up for about 20mins for the freshly baked cheesecake, which cost 648yen. Texture is soft and fluffy, and love the raisins on the cake base. Ended up visiting the Ebisubashi store to get another one before flying back home!
