Light and fluffy cheesecake

This is a perennial favourite of ours when we visit Osaka. The cheesecake is light and fluffy, and is equally delicious, hot or cold. The cheese flavour is not overwhelming and deliciously subtle. A must try in Osaka.

One of the Best taste of cheese cake in Osaka ever! It's creamy and soft because of fresh milk from hokaido. I strongly recommend you if you have a plan to visit Osaka!!

Bought the last cake of the day. Came back next day for another one! The caramel pudding is even more yum! Along with a pastry with cream filling. Their Swiss roll is so-so.

Rikuro serves the best Japanese cheese cake, it was light, fluffy and melt in your mouth, it was mild eggy flavour with some raisins on the bottom. The strawberry cake was the best too. It was so delicious and good. Strongly recommend! A must try in Osaka

Holy wow, I would go back to Osaka just to have this cheesecake again. We stopped at the location in the Osaka train station (bottom floor of Daimaru -- so many good things here but make a beeline for the cheesecake!) on our way back to Tokyo and picked up a cake to enjoy once we'd gotten to our hotel... A must buy is their cheesecake! So soft, so fluffy. They have a small stall in the basement of the Osaka Station - just look for the Daimaru store and take the escalator or elevator inside the store to the basement. When you see the cakes area, you are near Rikuro. We bought 8 cheesecakes to take home! Dont regret... More

My husband and I LOVE cheesecake and were really excited to see what Japanese cheesecake was all about which is why we visited Rikuros. First of all, I just want to point out that this is NOT normal "cheesecake" so don't be surprised if you were expecting it to be the same. Based on the reviews I've seen a lot... More

Japanese Cheesecakes are known to be fluffy, souffle-like cake made with cream cheese, very much different from the New York style cheesecake in terms of texture and density. With this information, patrons will be well-informed and would have reasonable expectation how a Japanese cheesecake would taste. Back to Rikuro, it is proudly Osaka brand. We chanced it when we saw... More

Famous and very popular cheese cake. They would ring a bell when the bakery was ready for sell Don't miss Riburo Chesse cake if you are a fan of this soft Japanese style cheese cake. They tried to remind me the cake could only keep unrefrigerated for few hours, and made sure I was not going to carry it on... More

Ordered the set with coffee and a slice of cheesecake for around 5 dollars. If I was put to a blind tasting, I'd say this tastes less like cheesecake and more like soft gelatinous scrambled eggs. This place was recommended to us by a local, saying it is Osaka's famous cheesecake. We walked past it a few days earlier and... More
