Good breakfast buffer

The Flying Tomato Cafe in the Hotel Imperial has a nice ambiance and a wide selection of Japanese and western items on their breakfast buffet, including eggs cooked to order. The service is prompt and efficient.

Excellent selection of both Japanese and American food! Service was excellent but because of restaurant's popularity, had to wait at least 30 min to be seated. Need to allow time to relax and enjoy the beautiful display of prepared food. All food areas are constantly being wiped for spills. Clean dishes, utensils and napkins are always available. This place is not worthy of a 5 star leading hotel of the world. Service is good but food choice, quality of the food, small tables etc is a real disappointment.

We ate breakfast in the Flying Tomato Cafe at the Imperial Hotel Osaka. The food was good and especially the pastries. Chocolate Croissants were one of the best with lots of chocolate inside. The fruit ones with a little custard were good too. The outside garden like room was nice and less noisy than the main room.

Had breakfast which is part of the Imperial Hotel. It was what you would expect with the normal items being available.

Average food in a grand and elegant hotel was not expected. And the area for this restaurant was too tight. It should have matched the hotel's rating of a 5 star hotel.
