What an amazing place! We tried both kobe and the moriya special beef, you can taste the difference kobe beef is richer in flavour but both melt in your mouth! Wonderful staff, very friendly and helpful!

The other reviews sum this place up so not much else to add. Delicious beef beautifully cooked and a flare of showmanship sitting in front of the chef. No complaints. Don't bother with the selected beef - go for Kobe. Delicious.

I researched on this restaurant before boarding for the trip to Japan. I purposely brought my dad to Kobe to try this restaurant for Kobe beef. Of course, they didn't disappoint us. This is the real deal. The waiter specificly tells you that they have the REAL KOBE on the right side of the menu, and similar quality beef on the left side of the menu. Restaurant is a short walk from Sanomiya and although not hard to find the restaurant name was in Japanese, so one may not know its the actual restaurant. My wife and I found this place when we were staying in Osaka and made the trip out to Kobe. It was well worth it. We were lucky and managed to reserve the special advantageous set lunch during weekend. We ordered 4 sets with 2 sets of tenderloin and 2 sets of sirloin. Both are really really good especially the tenderloin! This is a must try restaurant when in Kobe.. I will for sure visit again next time!

My wife and myself have order two dinner set, one standard and one supreme. From the wagyu sashimi salad to the wagyu tail soup, followed by the highlight teppan "Wagyu Steak" then finished with the rice. What are meal! It's absolutely fantastic! Everyone have to try Kobe beef in Sanomiya Mouriya.
