Probably the best meal of the year. Certainly one of the best beefs I have ever had. You can find the place just across the Shin-Kobe station. In the Oriental Garden Mall. We went for the lunchdeal and a glass of merlot. ~¥7000 each

We're 6 and we order 750 gram tenderloin and 750 sirloin. While we enjoy the appetizer, salad, soup and wine, the chef grill the meat very slowly and detail with a low heat, they serve us one by one in teppan table. Taste like heaven, it's melt in our mouth ! This restaurant is the good place to enjoy high... More

We were there for lunch and chose a set menu, which is a lot cheaper than the prices in the evening. The chef was really funny and knew what he was doing. The meat was presented and cooked before our eyes. Yes, it is expensive, but worth the experience!

You have to approach this as an Experience from your first look at the genuine Kobe stamp on your portion of beef through to that last delicious mouthful. We opted for the 250g sirloin set dinner for JPY13,800 each which included a smoked salmon appetiser, vegetables, bread or rice, coffee and of course that star of the show the beef.... More

A friend who lives in Kobe recommended this to us. It was 200,000 yen each after drinks for a kobe sirloin and a kobe tenderloin. If there’s 2 of you, I recommend you share try one dish each of the kobe sirloin and kobe tenderloin because the sirloin is too fatty for one person (in my opinion), and the tenderloin... More

Kobe beef is a must to try. Yes is expensive, however if you are in Kobe good to give it a try. There are 3 different lunch set menu, 1 of them came with Kobe beef at about yen5250++. I think is reasonable to try if the high end is out of budget. Chef is a Japanese, able to speak... More

There is no doubt that Kobe beef is the king of all meat. And what better place to taste that other than its home? Wakkoqu is an excellent restaurant choice to try this beef. The chefs are remarkably knowledgeable about the food and they know how to make your gastronomic experience one you won’t soon forget. Note that there are... More

Made this our last stop before heading back to Malaysia. We picked this restaurant for the sake of convenience since its right next to the JR ShinKobe station and its also the #1 ranked in TripAdvisor. It was lunch and we ordered the Wakkoqu lunch set 1. Which serves 150g of Kobe beef, veges and dessert. My goal is just the... More

My girlfriend and I will remember this for a looong time. We chose the 220gr selected steak menu, and it was around 12000Y per person. Ofcourse its expensive, but we live in Korea where meet quality is regular-poor, so we wanted to have something really good before coming back. The taste and texture of the meat was supreme, I have... More

When we were planning our to-do-list in Osaka, my son said that we should try eating Kobe beef. We decided to go to Kobe for a little sightseeing and eat Kobe beef there. We looked at different reviews and decided to on this place. We ordered Kobe beef and the restaurant's choice beef (not the real Kobe beef). The meats... More
