Brilliant food and experience, Go for lunch to save a tonne of money and booking in advance

Brilliant experience with all chefs performing for you and explaining how to best enjoy your dish. A nice seating arrangement which is great for... read more

We were a 4 people grouo and we sent an e-mail, without reply, to make a reservation in this restaurant but when we arrived they did not want to attend us. They said that the restaurant was full but we the place was empty and we saw the reservation page and only had three annotations. We arrived at 4 p.m.... More

Excellent location to try out the Kobe beef in the Kobe prefecture. My Gf and I were in kyoto on our way back to tokyo. We decided to take a detour to the kobe perfecture to try out kobe beef. Nothing like having kobe beef in kobe itself. The location was excellent, 5 minutes walk from the station via an... More

We dropped in for lunch, without a reservation - no issues. It was not empty, though, the number of people in side gave us the comfort that it's tried-out place. Everything turned out well: the steak was delicious, the presentation style engaging, the accompanying wine by the glass surprisingly good. Would surely recommend it to other tourists looking for a... More

First of all, this is not a review on the Kobe beef but on the restaurant. The beef was extremely well cooked and the personnel very kind and also English speaking. There are many menus with different quantities, qualities and pieces of the beef ranging from around 7500 yen to 14500 yen. If you want to try Kobe beef we... More

Truly a magnificent experience. For a price 1/3rd if you get it elsewhere around the world, the Kobe beef cooked Japanese style is really an experience I would recommend everyone to try at least once in their life. Absolutely fantastic.

Ate here during lunch, the entrance by the lady was extremely poor. Let us wait for a long time even with a reservation. Staff were only 4 people for such a big reataurant. The beef was nice but NOT mind blowing. We did not feel welcome at this place. Positive point: easy to acces from station.

...it felt rushed and not as good as it should be. For the price you pay I expected more. The appetizers are nothing special. Generic smoked salmon or roast beef are two of the four options. The beef really does not need all the extra stuff they serve you. I could especially been without the tofu and the grey gelatinous... More

Today, July 19,2015, I have made reservation at 2pm for 8 adults and 2 babies, we arrived at 1.55, and we handled by the lady receptionist, middle age japanese, and she was very unfriendly when she saw us. I was talking to her about my reservation, and my 2 Years old son was crying, because he doesnt want to go... More

We phoned and booked before going to Japan (recommended) based off Trip Advisor reviews. I am happy to add another positive review! Even though we were aware of the high price we were still hesitant when we arrived. Fortunately we ended up biting the bullet and ordering the most expensive dish on the menu :) It was totally worth it!... More
