Excellent food but too quick a meal

Fantastic meat cooked by experts. The cooking itself is an event. If you are going to eat there and have the budget, go for the top of the menu. Don't turn down the garlic. Unfortunately, the meal goes by too quickly.

Make sure you book in advance - even for lunch menu. Be punctual and they very much are. Chef is very helpful and explains the full experience. A bit expensive but very much worth it if this is your visit to Kobe and want to enjoy Japanese beef. Located right next to Kobe station and not far from Crown Plaza... More

Kobe beef at its best! Tasty fatty and OMG ... well worth the trip, most people will not be happy to pay $160pp for the meal but I'd say why not? it was AMAZING! Bookings required to avoid disappointments. Ensure you get the fried rice as extra it was amazing but not included to the set menu, they make it... More

It was the day before we left Japan so we decided to splurge and go for the special selection sirloin kobe beef steak. It was pretty pricey, but it tasted sooo good! The chef cooks everything in front of you on a hot plate and he tells you how to eat and what sauces to try. As with all of... More

Only10 minutes walk from the train station to this well known steakhouse for lunch, this is a perfect way to be introduced to the marvel of fabled, marbled goodness that is Japanese beef, especially for only $A50.00. This gets you a 130 gram serve along with soup, salad and miso. From several experiences the "Kobe" method of cooking seems to... More

I visit Japan annually and always head to Kobe at least twice to visit here. By far the best Kobe beef I have head. I have visited other restaurants but not nearly the quality or service. I agree to go at lunch when the prices are cheaper but truly perfect if you want to have Kobe beef prepared properly.

Same comments from all the review, it is value for money. Two things I noted, one is the chef is friendly, the waitress need to improve. Try to have lunch there, it is much cheaper. The lunch set is decent n you have personal chef attention. I personally believe it is 3.5 star but because the price is decent, I... More

I ordered the Tokusen (Specially selected Kobe sirloin) and asked the chef for Omakase (cook the beef to his preference) The raw beef was displayed on a wooden plate, so that you can witness the beauty of the densely-marbled kobe beef. Chef Sasaki served the beef in three different servings. The first serving was about a hundred grams of fatty... More

We were staying one night at the ANA Crown Plaza hotel on Christmas night and wanted to eat at the teppanyaki place in the hotel but they were fully booked. The hostess recommended this place and we loved it. Nice but not fussy decor and the staff were all friendly and spoke English very well. Our Chef recommended the best... More
