This is definitely the best meat I have ever eaten in my life. A must try if you're ever in Kobe. This place is on top of the Ana Crowne Plaza hotel but it can be a little tricky to find inside the shopping area. It's also not too far of a walk from JR Shin-Kobe Station. Also, make sure... More

Great food! I dont need to say more about it since the reviews here mostly rave about it. Only tip - come by at lunch since its mostly the same food but for about half the price.

This is the best place to eat the famous kobe beef on a descent budget if you go on the lunch. For 50 dollars you can eat the famous kobe beef including an appetizer and ice cream for desert. I highly recommend this place

Shame its only possible to give five "stars" on Tripadvisor! This deserves six! One of the best meals we've ever had. Sitting in front of a chef lightly and elegantly frying thin slices of Kobe beef - this is perhaps the highlight of our holiday in Japan. Makes Japan's location 22 hours away seem like the catastrophe of my life.... More

Lunch set with 150g Kobe beef and mixed vegetables (~6,000 yen) was legendary! The chef cooks right in front of you and it was the best meal we ever had. Managed to get seats for 2 at lunch time without reservations. A MUST GO!

After attempting to make a reservation twice, it was third time lucky for us! Wakkoqu was everything we hoped the full Kobe beef experience would be. Personal, exciting and absolutely delicious. Our chef was fantastic - interesting, funny and extremely talented. If you are in Kobe, go to Wakkoqu!! As a tip, go into the restaurant to book a table... More

Amazing steaks. We tried one set of the lunch menu and one set off the Al la carte. The steak was definitely better off the al la carte as it was a much thicker cut

It's a cosy restaurant with friendly staff. The premium grade Kobe beef is simply delicious and melting in the mouth. A recommended restaurant for Kobe dining experience.
