This is a small store in the second floor of the Asse department building next to the Hiroshima train station. The wait outside is quite long, and we were waiting 30 minutes. The okonomiyaki is prepared right in front of you, and it is very tasty. Would recommend for the food and the price, though it is a long wait... More

Came for a visit from Kyoto and was in the mood for some Hiroshima Style Okonomiyaki. This place came highly recommended on various Japanese locals sites so we went for it. It's located in "ASSE" building on the 2nd floor with about 5-6 other shops just like it. You may have to match up the Chinese characters to find which... More

3 words sum up Reichan - cheap, delicious, quick. There was a queue so our orders were taken while queuing. Few simple options from basic pork and egg to adding shrimps or octopus, or both. From these same options you can choose to add egg or soba noodles or rice cakes. It took about 10 minutes to get a table... More

Rei-chan's Okonomiyakiya is found in the second floor of the Asse department building. They serve a local specialty--okonomiyaki. You can find many okonomiyaki restaurants in Hiroshima, but locals will tell you to come to Rei-chan's. Okonomiyaki is literally, "grilled as you like it." It's a savory pancake filled with vegetables, egg, and bacon. You can choose other ingredients to go... More

Waiting for your Shinkansen at the train station? Go upstairs and look for Reichan. You’ll recognise it by the white curtains with red Japanese letters, and because everyone is there! Delicious Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki. 1000¥. Check our foodie review of Japan in http://www.ebc.cat/2014/06/13/practical-japan-for-foodies/

We visited Reichan for dinner and the first thing I should say is that this is not a venue for a romantic meal. However, if you want to sample Hiroshima style okonomiyaki then I'd highly recommend you visit. Reichan is on the first floor of a building next to the station. Its in the row of restaurants at the front... More

Worth the wait, the queue means its popular. A very well known small okonomiyaki restaurant right in Hiroshima station dept store. Absolutely delicious okonomiyaki, and very reasonably priced. Good service, clean, friendly, and a real taste of Hiroshima by having noodles inside.

We tried this well rated place after trying some good Okonomiaki on the north side of the station. We had it with; mozzarella cheese, soba or udon noodles. Also the real Kimchi was great. Ask for extra pork and a personal preference is no Bonito flakes or (kezuribushi). The waiting line was about 15 mins at 7pm for dinner but... More

You can eat the best okonomiyaki in Japan, in this restaurant. And the location is just outside of the Hiroshima station. If you see a lot people waiting, you have to wait, the service is very very fast, the food delicious and they have english menú.

There are a multitude of places to get okonomiyaki in Horoshim but this is one of the best and it is located in Hiroshima station so its very central. It does get busy and foriegners cant make bookings so my advice is to get there early.
