It's a bit like a fancy food hall. We didn't go for the all you can eat option, but had a pasta set meal with salad, garlic bread, drink and dessert included. It wasn't expensive and the quality was fairly good. Definitely fine if you want somewhere easy to eat.

We has fun walking the Honduri and came across this interesting restaurant and bakery. The upscale cafeteria style experience is relaxing and the food is good too. There is a lot of people watching to do as you wait for your order to be delivered to you. There is a good assortment of sandwiches and lunch plates. After you have... More

All I can say is wow, wow, wow. The Andersen bakery is in an undercover pedestrianised street area (Hondori Street) and from the outside looks like an average coffee shop/bakery. GO inside! Two floors of baked goods. Pastries that I think may have been made by angels, and upstairs even more cakes on display. We actually just had a cup... More

The Andersen bakery chain is a big success in Japan - the owner a big fan of Danish bread and pastry. named the place after fairy tale writer Hans Christian Andersen. Great experience, check out the bread making process via the big glass windows.

They offer by far the best bread and pastries in Hiroshima. They have huge Ishigama (stone oven) in the store, churning varieties of delicious bread throughout the day. We love their flavoursome Ishigama English Bread; when toasted it is crunchy outside and chewy inside. Also their Danish pastries are absolutely wonderful. If you want to try uique Japanese product is... More
