If you are looking for a wide range of foods in Sapporo then this is a great place to visit. Lots of choices including sushi, katsu-don, patisseries etc. There's also a shop here selling the local Hokkaido delicacies. Note: The entrance for the food hall is located in the JR Sapporo station. Just keep walking to the North entrance after... More

You can get better deserts and food in any big department store in Seoul. I expected too much from the other guests comments... And too crowded... I tried several food there. It was good, but it is not that great like the other comments. It must be very interesting area for western people though.

We loved the shopping in Daimaru and it probably has the best food hall in the area. Had some excellent tofu for lunch at their eighth floor Restaurant alley.

It's a great place for take-out/finger food. When I don't know where to dine, it is a great place to go. I can pick up fresh bakery, japanese pastry, fresh fruits, ice-cream, beers, Yakult, sushi, chinese buns, bento.

So much to see, choose and eat. Wow, more than just sushi or sashimi. All kinds of food choices here. Buzzling, noisy and fun. Not cheap but must go to experience the interesting atmosphere.

Daimaru Sapporo's restaurant floor has a number of excellent eateries. My wife and I liked the eel place, Miyakawa. In fact, unagi (eel) we had there was the best we've ever had anywhere. So we went there twice in four days. The tempura place right next to the unagi place was also pretty good. The eel was a bit pricy... More
