The conveyor belt sushi joint and it the best that I have ever tried, to clarify, it's the best Kaiten sushi...which is the fast food lunch conveyor belt style. Can't confuse this with a high priced sushi from a real sushi chef they are different experiences and different quality and of course different price. This is delicious and sushi has... More

This restaurant on the 6th floor of Stella Place at Sapporo JR Station is never without a crowd outside. Write your name on the list outside the restaurant and be prepared to wait up to an hour during peak dinner time. After your name is called, go inside and wait for your turn to be seated. Everything served on the... More

First time I visited Hokkaido (Sapporo), seafood, especially sashimi and sushi is very fresh and delicious. You and me have many choices, elegant restaurants or roadside restaurants. Hanamaru is one of good choices, I was recommend by Japanese friends and it is listed as one of best places of sushi by Richmond Hotel in Sapporo. Hanamaru is kaitenzushi, but you... More

We have tried to rest but this is the best. Atmosphere, quality, price - it's all good. Around 1000 yen for 7 dishes. Be sure to try the Yama wasabi ika.

Hanamaru is definitely a step above Toppi. I used to go to a few different Hanamarus quite a few times a month, but then moved to a new neighborhood. I now live close to a Hanamaru and a Nagayakate. The Nagoyakatei is by far the best kaitenzushi I have been too. I think Hanamaru is very good though. If I... More

If you are searching a nice athmosphere with delicious sushis this place is just for you. We went to this restaurant around 6 PM and it was a little bit crowded. We write our names to a list and start waiting. After 30 minutes we go our places in front of the counter. I think rotating sushi is the best... More

This place still had a queue when we went at around 830pm. Good sign. Fish were fresh, sashimi salad was very refreshing with generous toppings of tuna, salmon, ika, amaebi and ikura. The prawn tempura was excellent as was the baked potato. Service was efficient, and new repeat orders were delivered quickly. Nice dinner.

Didn't have otoro and lack of servers or people to take your order. Sushi chef pretended to not hear we call him, even in Japanese Sumimasen. Pretended to not understand hotate and frowned a lot. Stay away if you are not fluent in Japanese or can write the order in Japanese. I won't go back.

Not the best of quality for Japanese conveyor belt sushi, but it's value for the money spent. The varieties on the belt is not great, but can place order from the menu.

This is an assembly line sushi place. Better than most, but it cannot compare with a real chef-to-customer sushi shop.
