Great fine sushi dining

Everything is finely done with precision. The dining experience is wonderful. It's not cheap but the quality is good.

I went to the Suskino branch in South 7 west 4 block in Sapporo. Second year in a row. Such amazing quality sushi. Try the kinki. Also the scallops hotate and the uni sea urchin.

We were told that this is one of the best sushi restaurant in Sapporo. With 2 stars Michelin, we definitely had our hopes up, but it didn't fail us. Sushi / sashimi were made on spot by the chef, whole dining experience was amazing! The cheapest set on menu was about 9000 yen and we ordered the 16000 yen dinner... More

It was for the first time Hokkaido has 4 restaurant wining the coveted 3 Stars Michellin award. As usual last minute reservation was totally impossible for group of 10, perhaps two they can squeeze in on waiting list as my friend did. Hence, we settled for the 2 stars Sushizen - they have 4 outlets. It was truly an unforgetable... More

I heard that this restaurant is THE best sushi restaurant in Sapporo, but it definitely is NOT up to my expectation. Ants were running on the sushi bar. Ants were in miso soup. Sushi zen might have a good history and got many awards, but I really don't think it is up to its name.

The fine dinners here will set you back 5000 yen, 10,000 yen or even more. Unlike Tokyo's refined "Edoma-zushi", the Hokkaido-style sushi here emphasizes simplicity. But don't let that fool you: This is a top stop on the sushi-geeks itinerary. For a cheaper option, try the lunch specials at the Sushi-zen in Daimaru Sushi-zen (JR Sapporo Station), which start at... More

We have been avid eaters of sushi for over 30 years and this was the best we have ever had. The sushi master chose for us and showed us the Japanese word for the type of fish and explained what it was for the unusual types. The fish was incredibly fresh and each morsel was beautifully presented on different plates.... More

The sushi at this place is mediocre, but the wrappers are so artistic. That's probably why it is so popular with middle-aged and elderly women.
