I read about Nemuro Hanamaru and decided to give it a try. As we were driving, we decided not to go to JR Tower Stellar Place but instead try out one of its other branches at Nishi No 西野店, which was near to Shiroi Koibito Park. There was ample free parking right in front of the shop. I was initially... More

Last day of our trip in Sapporo and we did not know where to go. I tried searching on the web for a spot where we can have some sushi and enjoy our time without much language barrier. I came across Hanamaru! We arrived at JR station around 11 and walked our way to the 6th floor. While wondering around... More

Not one into sushi but my wife is, so came to Hanamaru after reading recommendations here in Tripadvisor. Time was 11+am & already about 6 in queue, which is considered short as after meal, there was easily like 20 in line. No worries, though, the Japanese do things very systematically - just remember to write your name on the reservation... More

Definitely worth a visit if you are here in Sapporo. Each dish is priced between 200-350 yen. Don't worry if you don't speak Japanese - they have an English menu so just ask for it. In addition to the standard take-your-pick from the passing sushi train, you can also place an order using the menu and give it to the... More

It's the best conveyor belt sushi we ever had ! Sushi was fresh and generous in serving and the atmosphere was great and we felt as if we are in a fish market !

This conveyor belt sushi restaurant is in the towers at Sapporo Station. Very Busy and worth the wait. This was the freshest sushi that you can get without getting closer to the coast. Don't let the Touristy facade or the mall location fool you!

It was lunch time on a Saturday and we queued for about an hour before we were led to a counter seat. I'm generally not a big fan of sashimi except for a few items but I quite enjoyed everything served there as it was super duper fresh! My bf who loves his raw food was pretty much in heaven.... More

The maguro and sashimi were so fresh you won't believe the dollar can be stretch further! There is a minimum wait of 40-50 mins when we were there. Leave your name on the list and go walk around daimaru while you wait. This place is easy to find, on the 6th floor of stellar place, where it connects to daimaru.... More

Before I ever got to Japan one of my bucket list goals was to somehow get here and have "real" sushi. Having been here a few months I certainly have had some good sushi - and there are super high end, gorgeous places in Tokyo that put most other sushi spots in the world to shame. But this place -... Stopped by for lunch while waiting to check in at JR NIKKO. Waiting time 1 hour which is fine to do some shopping but make sure you register your name 20 plates at about 6000 yen of varying quality. I had Sushizen a few nights ago at about 22,000 yen for 2. Of course, the prices for set was 3-4,000... More
