my first review was written in November 2012, after that we have visited Jin Sha several times and we can say now that the quality of food is excellent, also the service has improved a lot. Jin Sha can be highly recommended now.

Given being the restaurant in Four Seasons Hotel, Jin Sha delivered everything I expected from Four Seasons branded experiences, the setting, the service, and the food... all delivered spotlessly. I couldn't help but comparing Jin Sha with Hubin 28, the other top rated Hangzhou restaurant at Grand Hyatt. Interestingly, I prefer the food at Hubin 28 slightly more, probably just... More

Food was very good at this restaurant and it is a gorgeous spot. Ask for a table overlooking the water wall and pond.

The food was very tasty and refined. I love the crab meat with home made tofu ( bean curd ) and the West Lake vinegar fish! The restaurant décor is elegant. The service was friendly, warm and efficient.

well, it may be fair price for people who stays in four season, and it may be also tasty... but the food is more likely cuisinse prepared for westerner...so if you would like to take a walk, or take a taxi... there are lot excellent really Hangzhou cuisines outside the hotel with much better value for money! By the way,... More

I ate there with family and friends during my stay at Four Seasons. The food was excellent and service was good. We especially loved the LongGi tea there. The beggars chicken was very special. We also loved the lotus with sticky rice appetizer. This was like any other restaurants at a 5 stars hotel in China, very pricey. We would... More

Staff here are mainly very attentive and the food was delicious. We had beggars chicken one night which you need to pre order, but it was well worth it. My only negative comment was one night they didn't bring the rice we asked for, despite asking several times. And a couple of dishes we chose were not inspiring, but we... More

Ate here while staying at the Amanfayun (they provided a car to transport us to/from the FS). We had an excellent meal with very good service. I can't remember all of the dishes but the crispy skin chicken was superb, as was the pyramid pork. What was amazing was a pudding described in English as a 'cream pudding', which when... More

We went there with some friends based in Hangzhou. They claim this is the best Chinese Food Restaurant in Hangzhou. The food was excellent for both taste and presentation. The Pork Pyramid and the Thai Style Prawns Soup (a bit spicy but unforgettable) were the two best dishes I tried and I sponsor them a lot. The location is gorgeous.... More

I was expecting something good - not special. Hence the title. Dishes were innovative with use of western ingredients that mixed well with the Chinese food. In terms of value for money I still prefer the Shangrila's chinese restaurant. Jinsha is more expensive but worth it.
