Superb food in a beautiful setting

Quite simply, this restaurant deserves the enthusiastic reviews it receives. It really is as good as people say. The dishes are beautifully presented. There is a level of attention to detailed presentation that is not usual, so the dishes charm the eyes before they delight the palate. And they... read more

Nestled in the grounds of the Four Seasons this restaurant served probably the best Chinese food I experienced during a two week trip to China. The staff were helpful, guided us through the menu selections, and made the difference between a good evening and a great evening. I would happily return

I cane here for a peaceful lunch. The service was excellent; the staff was attentive and exceptionally kind. As I was dining along, I ordered a couple dumplings which were all very tasty. It was a very nice introduction to the West Lake in Hangzhou.

Sometimes restaurants on Tripadvisor top 10 can be over rated but I have to say Jin Sa definitely owns its name for being the best restaurant in town. Despite of the noises from near by diners, the ambiance is just great. The friendly server that served us was really professional and recommended some good dishes, everything we tasted was delicious.... More

Four Seasons hotel is always a beautiful place to visit. It's especially wonderful when u can eat the most delicious dim sum in such a beautiful setting, with a small lake n big fat geese swimming around. Be warned, it's not cheap for the dim sum. Usually averages out at rmb400 per person I find. But it's worth it !... More

Outstanding view and food and is the best kept secret in Hangzhou. The crispy chicken is tender and delicious. Lotus root with minced pork is excellent. Services is beyond expectation in a good way and you ll more appreciated that when you are in china long enough. Strongly recommended. Wine list can extended the choice, though.

My wife and I ate here 3 nights in a row during a stay at the hotel in early May. The service and food ( I suggest the pork pyramid) were excellent, but not inexpensive. We felt that we received value nonetheless.

I had a dinner with myself only while I was staying the Hyatt hotel nearby. I have to say my dining experience was outstanding. Tried out 1 appetizer and 2 hot dishes plus a small bowl of rice, the food was modern Chinese style and seasoned perfectly, the local beer was quite impressive and the service staffs were charming and... If this restaurant was in Shanghai i would say it was average, especially for the price. It does not compare to the better Shanghai restaurants with one exception, the Dim Sum. The Dim Sum was really very good and we duly returned in the evening to taste the other dishes. The other dishes varied from good to average as much... More
