We have lunch there on Xmas day. The Hangzhou cuisine is delicious, Song's fish soup and yellow fish noodle soup are highly recommend, very original tasty.

We went to this place on a recommendation of others. Food in Zhejiang provence is very famous and we enjoy the style. This place was a let down, more like tourist food than real Hangzhou food. Plus the atmosphere is cold and loud. Too western for us.

If you are looking to eat local style food and not on a budget, then you will love the food here. 5 star service, 5 star food, 5 star prices. Is an excellent dining experience.

We checked in to Four Season late and were too tired to go out for dinner so we settled for “hotel food” and it turned out to be GREAT. The restaurant is spacious and elegant yet relaxed. We were seated at a corner near the kitchen and there was only 2 other tables (on a Tuesday). Service was prompt and... More

Stunningly well run hotel with exceptional management written all over it. Great surroundings, beautiful rooms with everything the demanding traveller could want. Nothing is too much trouble. Jin Sha is a truely exceptional restaurant with fabulous food wine and service - pricey but worth it. Fragrant Thai type cusine in their other restaurant. Just can't fault it. By far the... More

Our last night in Hangzhou we had dinner at Jin Sha. Johnson warmly welcomed us and served us our drinks. Milly our server did a great job recommending our meal. We started with the honey barbecued pork, which we shared. We then followed up with fried rice/beef with chili sauce and enjoyed an amazing dessert. A great time was had... More

On the pricy side, but well worth it for a splurge and to know you're eating in one of China's most famous restaurants. It's also a delight to go to a Chinese restaurant and be able to ask questions about the menu, including advice on local dishes (since they all speak great English). The famous lake fish is quite tasty... More

my first review was written in November 2012, after that we have visited Jin Sha several times and we can say now that the quality of food is excellent, also the service has improved a lot. Jin Sha can be highly recommended now.

Given being the restaurant in Four Seasons Hotel, Jin Sha delivered everything I expected from Four Seasons branded experiences, the setting, the service, and the food... all delivered spotlessly. I couldn't help but comparing Jin Sha with Hubin 28, the other top rated Hangzhou restaurant at Grand Hyatt. Interestingly, I prefer the food at Hubin 28 slightly more, probably just... More
