Go to Hai Di Lao instead. Was disappointed. Meat just tasted wrong. Lao in Chinese would describe it. Might have been fake... Vegetables and tofu were fine.

This is a good place for hot pot. I was staying at the holiday inn near by and was taken here by a friend from Beijing. Not many tourists, but they did have English on the menu. Typical make your own sauce and choose from either spicy or normal. As with all hot pot, prepare to leave with stinky clothes... More

I go here everytime my betterhalf gets hungry really late in the night. We always order the hotpot. Well the hot pot is not anywhere special but it aint bad. well one cant always keep eating spectacular. its the easy and simple things in life. We went here for a late lunch and had an OK meal. We ordered glutinous rice with duck, fried noodles and some bao. This chain restaurant (川味观) is located in many cities and as the title suggests, its Sichuan cuisine, meaning that many of the dishes are spicy.
