Good and tasty food

Although need to take taxi, it's value for money. Can eat local tasty food, as well as some western style food, such as bread with fresh fruit. Dish is special and tasty, especially vegetable, always fresh, crisp and tasty.

Very large selection- unfortunately only in Chinese and most of the staff, although very kind and trying their best, could not speak any English. They however looked around and found a restaurant guest who spoke English and French who walked us through the menu. The dumplings were very good, but the pork was boringly dry. The bread with ice cream... More

If visiting Hangzhou would immediately remind you Dragonwell tea, then the restaurant Green Tea could be treated as a great compliment of your trip, Located in the district Dragonwell, with Dragonwell tea plants surrounding. Although food is not as local as the other well-known Chinese restaurants you can have in Hangzhou, the food is of wide varieties, from typical Hangzhou... More

This restaurant situated in the heart of Longjing Tea plantations. From the distance it looks like it is built on the water. Very beautiful setting with the backdrop of Longjing green Tea bushes. When you go there try to go earlier. If you want a table straight away be there either around 11.30am (Lunch) or 5.30pm (Dinner). Other times you... More

Probably the one restaurant that you have to visit when you're in Hangzhou. Expect to wait 30 mins for a table, but it'll be all worth it. Make sure to get the bread dessert with ice cream and peanut butter smoothie.

Affordable tasty Hangzhou food, not sophisticated, not terrible refined. Something that I expect a housewife to cook. Simple rustic looking tables n chairs. Go early, else there will be a long queue. Some dishes could be too oily for western palates.

Just go and see for yourself. Crazy hectic place that offers some of the tastiest food I've ever had. Not only that but for a table worth of food and drink I paid the equivalent of a fiver. yes please. If I get to hangzhou again, I'll be back.

We visited the Hubin branch of Green Tea Restaurant on two occasions for dinner last week, and enjoyed the second meal even more than the first. The restaurant was getting full by 5.30pm and the queues were already starting to form by then, although our family of 4 was seated immediately on both evenings. Over two nights, we ate the... More

Foreign and Chinese friends alike both love Green Tea. They even offer low-priced in-house beer that's good quality (for Chinese beer ;). I recommend the kaoji (烤鸡), sliced pork, and the cheese and mushroom dish. There's almost always a line, but you can give your number and go for a walk around the lovely scenic area.

We accidently stumbled into this restaurant as we wanted to go to Grandmother's restaurant nearby but the queue was very long. We had the pork chop which is delicious. Try the square bread with ice cream it is to die for. We saw every other table ordering the bread so we tried and it is so good. The service was... More
