While living in Hangzhou we went here numerous times. The food and atmosphere are great, the menu extensive and very foreigner friendly. I would highly recommend this place although be aware of the Qs Definitely one of the best in Hangzhou

First: Send someone in to get your number, expect to wait for 30-45 minutes, if not longer. Meanwhile, let everyone else walk around the area (it's lovely, tea fields, pond) until your number is 5 spots away. Second: Order the fish head, the tea leaf roast pork, the nian gao (rice glutamate?), the qianye tofu, which are all home runs.... More

After highly recommended by the hotel, we walked to this restaurant. Our comments are as follow:- 1) Good prices : i.e. steam fish head RMB 48.00 which in Hong Kong would cost HK$150 easily and the fish head is so fresh. 2) BBQ pork : RMB 28 and the quantity is enough for four persons. 3) All dishes are served... I've been to this restaurant a few times, depending on the dishes and day, the food quality varies. It isn't as oily as most restaurants and the location is paramount to its success, and for that reason it's worth a visit.

Good scenery. Location is pritty much middle of now where. Your gonna need a cab or a scooter to get there. Food is ok, but not the best. The thing that put me off was the beer. We ordered a keg of heineken beer. So i only toke one sip and i didn't want it anymore. It was not cold... More

I live in hangzhou and go to green tea at least monthly, and always bring visitors there. I've been in china 4 years and its always been my favorite place. That being said its been slowly slipping and getting worse. Today was the worst yet. Brought two American friends and I was excited to show them green tea. Atmosphere was... More

The setting of this restaurant is beautiful. It sits next to a pond/lake, surrounded by fields of tea plants and lush green hills. It wasn't the best Hangzhou food I've ever had (Grandma's is actually much better), but was still very decent and I think most people go here for the charming surroundings. If you go on the weekend, you're... More
