We had a lot of fun at this restaurant, especially watching the noodle dancer. My 6 and 11 year old loved that. The service was excellent and most of the food very tasty. Unfortunately, my older daughter became very sick (vomiting) after eating here, so we suspect that it was under-cooked chicken since she was the only one in our... More

So far the services at this restaurant surpasses many, if not all, in China. Even the lady in the toilet was so helpful and kept the place clean. Back to the food, the waiter was not pushy in getting you to order a lot or expensive dishes. Yes, you will get free noodles pulling entertainment in front of your table... More

This was a highlight for us visiting this restaurant! The service was above and beyond and the food was delicious. We made our own sauce then cooked our food hot pot style. The staff took photos of us and printed and gave to us and really made the whole experience fun. I would highly recommend, hard to find but worth... More

So much fun. Nobody speaks English. Lots of finger pointing. We had the best time. Be prepared to not know what your eating. This is what makes it fun.

It's always entertaining to come eat here, we were luck to get a server that could speak a little english to help with the ordering. Last time we were at a Haidilao we ended up getting a way to spicy hot pot. Make sure if you don't want spicy you make it clear to them when you pick the broths.... More

On a visit to the Terracotta Army and staying for 2 nights we visited the Hot Pot and were extremely pleased with the resulting meal. We ate well, had a few beers and walked away after a little "noodle show" with a bill for Y170 (£17). Something not to miss if you are in Xi'an.

My friends in Xia'n took us here for dinner during a very crowded night. I loved the guy who made the noodles in our room while dancing and turning with a "Michael Jackson-ish" hat on his head. The staff told me that one of the best "noodle dancer" works at the restaurant but unfortunately she (or he?) was away for... More

This place offer exceptional service which had rare when dinning in China. There are nothing to complain about the food as I never have any problem with it. However, don't expect exotic quality or mind blowing favor. The experience here will be what you will remember this place for. Excellent place to go for regular weekend dinner. (expect to wait... We chose Haidilao based on TripAdvisor reviews and, luckily enough, it was a block away from our hotel! How lucky was that!! It was a bit hard to find but I had remembered reading a review about having to go to the 4th floor of a shopping mall (through a fairly random door) and there it was. We got off... More

If, like me, you want to try hot pot on your trip to China I think this place is a good option. It wasn't as easy to find as I thought, it's in a shopping complex on the 4th floor. A woman was recruiting diners at street level but she didn't speak English. Eventually we made it though. English was... More
