Sorry, but whoever believes that this joint has anything at all to do with Paris either needs their head tested, or at the very least, a trip to Paris! The cost of the food was really ridiculous for the minuscule portions on offer. Even then, the chicken was mostly bone and was spiced Chinese style, without a hint of joie... More

Went here for a club sandwich. It was good, not great. The desert pastry was wonderful. Would eat here again.

Decided to go here for a romantic meal. It's located very close to the bell tower in the center of the city. The place is designed well, but has that feel of appearance being good, but the staff not really knowing what's going on! The food was nice as was the wine. Decent price, expensive for China.

Travelling around China, I arrived in Xian and was craving Western Food. La Seine is not easy to find (opposite the car park of the Bell Tower Hotel) but its on the 5th floor. There is a great menu which includes a Vegy section also. The decor is fab and staff are very good. Overall, a really nice meal and... More

The staff went out of their way to ensure that the food I ordered was gluten free. It was great to have confidence in the staff that what I eventually ordered was safe to eat. No problems were experienced. Apart from an error in the entree - wrong one delvered - it was a pleasant night with a good bottle... More

My wife and I went after about a month in China. The food was okay, but wasn't too authentic. I had the goose liver to start and the venison as a main. The liver wasn't as flavourful as I had expected it to be. The venison was also fairly average. My wife started with the mushroom soup, which turned out... More

My husband and I went here last night (13th April 2012) La Seine seems to have everything going for it. The food was nicely presented and the feel of the restaurant was perfect - good selection of food and wine on the menu at very reasonable prices. BUT my main came out before I had finished my starter and my... More

I went with a friend to see the Terracotta Warriors in Xi'an. at about 6pm we went out to get a drink. As you might expect we were having difficulty finding a wine bar. From the other side of the street we saw, on the 5th floor of a building, stylish wine glasses on the tables of what appeared to... More
