We were two couples, and had found lots of coffee places in Guilin were so so or used sticky condensed milk, yuk! Also everyone was smoking. Here was really a breath of fresh air! It was perfect, we had the afternoon tea which was American coffee and a brown or cheese cake which were both homemade and lovely. The 100... More

Sick of having inconsiderate people blowing their cancerous smoke over your food while trying to eat, so it was a breath of fresh air to find Cae Nissi and its no smoking policy. Sadly, it was on our last day in Guilin. Only had coffee, but the owner and staff were friendly and chatty

Excellent style and service as a cafe, but we were disappointed that they only offered a very limited range of more substantial meals. Anyway, the staff were charming and the seating comfortable. We note others' comments about the cafe's 'themed' periods - I can only assume they are now in a Leonard Cohen phase, because we got his Greatest Hits... More

It's quite a surprise to find out Nissi Cafe has moved to a new place, and it's been changed to Nissi Station. The cafe is a bit bigger, and the atmosphere is quite different. When I came in December, they had Christmas atmosphere; and when I came two weeks ago, they had Chinese New Year decoration. It's nice and warm.... More

Popped in on a very hot lunchtime. Had a chicken and bacon burger which come with chips. The burger was good but nothing special. What surprised us was how bad the fried rice with BBQ port was. Made with what looked like short grain - risotto rice it was mushy and flavor-less. A pretty spot to sit and maybe just... More

The place is situated next to one of the lakes in Guilin. It was a nice place to come during the evening to chill and to relax after a long day sightseeing and taking in the great sights of Guilin. They also had a good selection of western (and chinese) food and drinks on offer.

Nice spot for breakfast next to the lake and you can get the excellent Guilin tourist map from here and do the half day walk around the various lakes and river side - very pleasant and free of charge! The western breakfast is great and I thought the dumplings (Jowdza) were OK - coffee is also good. Breakfast is 40RMB... More

Situated by the side of the beautiful Ronghu Lake of Guilin City---Pleasant location, nice atmosphere, freshly cooked food and good service. It provides me with a wonderful place to relax, to enjoy my breakfast and dinner, with the delicious home made food (including both western and Asian food) and the tasty tea and coffee. I like the special home made... More

I found Cafe Nissi is a great place to unwind and relax as it's lacated at one of Guilin's most scenic and tranquil locations. The staff were also happy to accommodate my requests, I personally like the breakfasts, the home baked breads, and especially the dips and the Bananna smoothies.
