I really liked this cafe. It is close to the river and I came there to have a rest and take a cup of coffee which was very delicious so I also decided to have lunch there. I tried a burger which was very good. The menue is in english which helped a lot. Highly recommendable!

Located on the same street as the Sheraton hotel, just a block away, Café Nissi is a family owned restaurant. You feel just like you were in the living room of your own home in a comfortable couch . The food is really good, we visited it twice and had spaghetti carbonara and chicken hamburgers, delicious and tasty. The owner... More

when strolling through the city of Guilin, I entered Cafe Nissi to have lunch. what a pleasant surprise. Small card (in english as well), but food of excellent quality. Staff was very efficient and friendly. Nice interior. If you want to change from traditional Chinese food, but do not want to have junk food, this is a good place to... More

Good food, excellent environment. 100% non-smoking - where else can you find such a setting in China? Service is very good, attentive but not pretentious. A nice place to relax, location also good. Particularly enjoyed the fresh passion fruit juice and creme brulee.

We were two couples, and had found lots of coffee places in Guilin were so so or used sticky condensed milk, yuk! Also everyone was smoking. Here was really a breath of fresh air! It was perfect, we had the afternoon tea which was American coffee and a brown or cheese cake which were both homemade and lovely. The 100... More

Sick of having inconsiderate people blowing their cancerous smoke over your food while trying to eat, so it was a breath of fresh air to find Cae Nissi and its no smoking policy. Sadly, it was on our last day in Guilin. Only had coffee, but the owner and staff were friendly and chatty

Excellent style and service as a cafe, but we were disappointed that they only offered a very limited range of more substantial meals. Anyway, the staff were charming and the seating comfortable. We note others' comments about the cafe's 'themed' periods - I can only assume they are now in a Leonard Cohen phase, because we got his Greatest Hits... More

It's quite a surprise to find out Nissi Cafe has moved to a new place, and it's been changed to Nissi Station. The cafe is a bit bigger, and the atmosphere is quite different. When I came in December, they had Christmas atmosphere; and when I came two weeks ago, they had Chinese New Year decoration. It's nice and warm.... More

Popped in on a very hot lunchtime. Had a chicken and bacon burger which come with chips. The burger was good but nothing special. What surprised us was how bad the fried rice with BBQ port was. Made with what looked like short grain - risotto rice it was mushy and flavor-less. A pretty spot to sit and maybe just... More

My son and i took a day off from touring and ate here. Pumpkin soup good. Tuna salad very good. He finished his pizza and i did same with veggie fried rice. Good drinks. Mellow oasis. Go.
