It took a little longer for this restaurant to go out like a whimper but I called it back in 2011 that this place would be out of business...and it is! Went to Wuu's for hot pot and was delighted to find the Alsace space now belongs to Wuu's deserts.

We ate here when the wait at an adjacent restaurant was too long and had a very pleasant, reasonably priced meal. The food was fairly authentic and well-prepared. We were one of three tables of diners, so service was very good.

Something has obviously changed here, they seem to have gotten good review previously so we thought we would check it out for our selves. How wrong we were to even bother.... Firstly the pizza type thing - cant remember the name, sorry but if you've been u will know, didn't come with all the ingredients stated, no pesto, and parma... More

I've been there once because I always go eat to the Chinese restaurant just next door (which is by the way very good!), and being French, I wanted to see how do they do my so loved food here in Guangzhou. This being done, I must say that it was quite a disappointing experience for me, and such a disaster... More

This used to be one of our favorite restaurants in Guangzhou, as we lived around the corner from it. We went last week and they continue to have the 15% service charge that really bothers my wife and I. 5 Star hotels charge 10% service charge and now Alsace is charging a 15% service charge which is too much. Plus,... More

To caveat this review, I've eaten here before and it wasn't bad. Now however the management of the restaurant appears to have changed. Food was served at a glacial pace and was cold and not even what I had ordered. When I noticed what i ordered was not what i had receieved, i asked if what I ordered was correct,... More

Quite easy to find, next to the Mandarin Oriental in the basement of a food-complex. Nice Menu, staff fluent in english, nice choice of beers and food. Had the Beouf Bourguignon with Spätzle. Tip-Top-Homecooked Meal! No Maggi, no MSG, just flavor of good ingredients. Saw the chef walking around, really an alsacian! Boeuf Bourguignon with Spätzle and Veggies, Pint Kronenbourg... More

Worst service I've had in China. Hands down. Every order had to be taken TWICE. They couldn't even show us to our booth properly. Laughable menu -- an Alsatian restaurant where the only choucroute choice is a 250 RMB megaplatter? Spaetzle only available if you talk to the (incredibly dumb) wait staff for several minutes about the secret menu? The... More

I really like this place. Wife and I come here about once a month and the interior is pretty cool with decorations from France and the owners region of Alsace. Food is really good, esp the foie gras and the mozzerella cheese sticks. Try the French beer Kronenbourg Blonde, as its probably the best beer I've ever had. Really good... More

After receiving some appealing offers in my mailbox concerning their new menus, I went over with one of my British friend. I had what they called the future tomato something.. and I must admit that it was a real piece of art. A pink spheric cold tomato mousse with melted mozzarella inside and black balls of balsamique dressing the waiter... More
