Decent choice if you need a break from Chinese food

Having lived many years on the French riviera I might be a bit spoiled when it comes to mediterranean food, but this restaurant delivers an average experience. If you are in Guangzhou for a longer periode of time and need a break from the asian restaurants it will however be worth your while to... read more

The "Jardin d'Olive" was my favorite spot in Guangzhou and was a regular. In the past the menu and flavors were authentic French style but, with success, the quality of the dishes and the environment just keep going down. Food comes either too cook or too cold, with and abusive use of the microwave oven to reheat the dishes which... More

I ate here with my boyfriend this week and had a lovely meal. The outside seating area feels like an escape from the metropolis of Guangzhou; you are surrounded by overhanging trees and can even here the twitter of birds. Indoors looks cute and cosy, but we wanted to make the most of the weather so opted for al fresco.... More

Ate here twice years ago. Finally decided to give it another go. Came for lunch with wife and daughter. Place is still nice and cozy with outdoor seating. Although, they should fix up the landscaping on the garden. Shouldn't cost a lot of money to upgrade and create a nice outdoor atmosphere. Now onto the food. The pictures on the... More

I hate to write negative reviews but maybe this is the only way to improve quality of food. ALthough the restaurant is nice and cosy, I was very disappointed by the quality of food I ordered in this restauarant on 15/06/2013. After consulting the Menue, I opted for the roasted chicken, thinking it could not be bad as a simple... More

The food is nothing special compared to many other restaurants in Guangzhou. I have had some different tries on the menu and it was just food, that's it. I experienced great examples of serving food in a beautiful way in China. They don't bother here. Just food on a plate.... The service is a little poor. The owner and the... More

nice place and nice food. Big size. It's good place for friends gathering. Good location in tiyuxi road but a quiet corner. Easy to find actually.

With the interior feeling of a Frency county home, the food is authentically French with great indoor or garden seating. The attentive manager with a delightful French accent and the host ensure that the experience meets expectations. All the dishes are excellent, from beef burgundy, lamb, fish, salads, bountious appetizers, to pasta to pizza, to the burnt creme (of course)... More

The food here is usually amazing. The service is great, but I think the menu is only in Chinese and French. However, some of the servers speak English and can help you. there are photos of the food as we.. The meals are pricey as is the wine list, but really have enjoyed a number of meals there.

I came here last year and really enjoyed my evening. The owner chatted to me for a bit and it was a really nice place. Good food - unlike some of the comments I had good food while I was here and a nice atmosphere.
