Located on the second floor of the famous bookshop on Nevsky this elegant cafe offer long time waiting at the entrance to be seated but short list of available cakes and pastries. Most of the items in the menu were missing in the afternoon. The prices are incredibly high and did not respond to the quality and the choice. Atmosphere... More

If you want to stop for a rest and refreshment after strolling along the Nevsky prospect the beautiful Kafe Zinger is the place. It offers good food, elegant art deco décor and a great view of Kazan Cathedral. Don’t miss The House of Books located in a basement, ground and first floor in the same building.

If you are trying to avoid waiting in the rain or you are tired of wandering around Nevsky, then this is a good place to go. The atmosphere is pretty nice, but not cozy, if that's what you are looking for. The view of Kazanskii Cathedral is grand and the fact that it's located in a convenient place makes it... More

This cafe shares the historic building with the oldest book store in city and has the best view to the Kazan Cathedral! I prefere to have my breakfast here. They serve it from 9am till 12pm. Lunch and dinner are also nice but food is average. Price is high but it's easy to understand what you are paying for...

After visiting Saint Petersburg a number of time over the last few years I have finally decided to visit this cafe. I liked the decor and the views are very nice. The food was average and overpriced. Good but nothing special.

From the outside this looks like a stylish place, and also the decor is nice, but... Compared to other restaurants in the neighbourhood this place is quite expensive. Also the portions are quite small. My wife had the pancakes, which were good. I had the dumplings, which didn't have much taste. Probably this place is better suited to have a... More

Lovely building on Nevsky Prospekt - this was a landmark we used to navigate our way around St Petersburg. Lovely beers and pastries, and iced tea. Round the corner from the Church of the Spilled Blood, and some of the loveliest canals and bridges in town.

The cafe is on the first floor of a very elegant and interesting Style Moderne building and is graced with fantastic views over the main shopping street in the city. Service and food are top notch, especially enjoyed the refreshing fruit salad and apple strudel. Great place to escape the bustle of Nevsky Prospekt and take a highly civilised hour.
