We were not sure whether to go here as the restaurant is deep inside a stylish and clearly very expensive hotel. well the menu is extensive and in different languages as well. I spotted a chef creation with wine paring by the Somalia. Had fried foie Gras as a first course and beef stroganoff as a main course both were excellent , but portions were very small. Problem was with the wine pairing. It seemed they were using very cheap wines... More

Where the Russian aristocracy used to gather and dine, L’Europe has retained its air of exclusivity even as its customers have come and gone. That this monument of the bourgeoisie survived Communism (like the GUM in Moscow) is itself illustrative of the enduring appreciation for the finer things to which the entire city of St. Petersburg owes its existence. Yet,... More

The egg in egg is out of this world. I ordered the degustation meal and every dish was perfectly presented, not to mention that it is by far the best meal I had in Russia. The service was excellent, very welcoming and tonight we had jazz music playing while we were enjoying dinner. Will definitely recommend this place to anyone... More

I had dinner here with my parents and it was a wonderful evening. We had the six course menu and it was delicious, such interesting combinations, the 'egg in egg' is a must try! Not only was the food sublime, but also the atmosphere. Our dinner was accompanied by a 3-person classical/smooth jazz band that put on a wonderful performance.... More

I booked this evening before I left for Russia; On certain Friday evenings there is also a musical theatre presented with your meal! So for my Birthday, on August 28th we attended this restaurant for another unforgettable time! OMG it was lovely..the hotel itself, located just off Nevsky Prospect is so charming..a very art nouveau style hotel. The dining room... More

L'Europe was a complete pleasure. From the outstanding wait staff who are attentive without being intrusive to the entertainment and the 5 star food, the evening was a night that exceeded expectations. The egg in egg is an absolute must! Scrambled egg, served in an egg shell, lightly scented with truffle and topped with caviar was a delight for all... More

The Tsars aperitif is worth having just to say you did . But the Beef Stroganoff is to die for , and so is the chocolate coolant ! Only minor complaint is the bread , but order what I told you and enjoy !
