I had dinner there three times, while I was staying in a nearby hotel. I was never disappointed by my choice - the food was very good and the staff friendly. The last evening there I was joined by several colleagues and we all had a wonderful dinner. If you are a soup fan, you should really try their soups!

I was really dissapointed after all the good reviews. I admit it was a Sunday night when we went but there was no atmosphere here, my beer was flat and not cold and the food was average, so it all just felt a little expensive for what we got.

I came in here before going to the Marinsky Theatre a few years ago. Was not disappointed. Food was exceptional, and great value for money. Only issue was that they fed me too well, and I subsequently spent the 3 hours in the opera in some discomfort, though that could have been due to the intensity of the opera itself,... More

Small, intimate, cool and interesting. Food and service was first class and by far the cheapest meal I had whilst in St Petersburg. I had a wonderful pork dish that was spiced so interestingly. Would love to be able to have it again. This is also a great place just to go for a drink. Superb location near St Isaacs

I think we may have visited too late or on an off night as the restaurant was empty (there was only 1 other table) though we did have a reservation. I prefer a more lively dining atmosphere. The classic Russian food was delicous, but we felt pressured to hurry up so they could close up. & this was our splurge... More

Honestly, I read these reviews and had no idea how someone could go to the same restaurant twice while on vacation. But oh thou silky, sumptuous, salmon crowned with salty caviar and quiet greens. Now, I get it. Really - we came here our first night in St. Petersburg as we were staying down the street and then rushed in... More

This place is few minutes away from St. Issac's Cathedral and has quite an extensive menu. We ordered the herring, smoked salmon and goat cheese and caviar pancake, the shrimp soup, the duck leg, the creamed trout etc. and they are all good and reasonably priced. They also serve a good Long Island of ice tea!

Very cool restaurant with excellent food and great interior! Don't miss it, since the entrance is unsightly, at least.

We stayed in a hotel down the street and were lucky enough to eat 3 meals here. This is a very small restaurant with a bar and 2 rooms (smoking/non-smoking). The menu has many options including vegetarian and seafood options. The prices were very reasonable. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and care in presentation. My... More
