"Your favorite SOUP is back! It seems like at the moment only a few places are left in Moscow that remind us of 'the good old days'. The places that remind us, now thirty-year-old city residents, of the best days of our youth. They could be counted on the fingers of one hand. One of them is the Soup Café, which has been running for 14 years. The Soup-Café Menu includes 44 soups and that is not the limit. Of course, we are not going to stop at 44 and promise to update our soup card and launch new ones. One of the most popular menu options with our guests is the "tasting menu" - 3 soups of your choice: you choose your favorite soups and make a SET based on your tastes! For the huge fans of Soup we have a brand new offer - large soup pot with ladle, which is for a group of 4 people. The main emphasis is on quality and organic ingredients. We must note that the Soup-Cafe was one of the first DJ-cafes. From now on every Thursday and Sunday the music mood in our place will be created by the Soup-cafe resident DJ. On Friday and Saturday we will have guest DJs. Finally, a few words about the most delicious update! In the first lounge we present our own mini-bakery with it's delicious homemade bread. The breakfasts in the Soup-cafe are handmade like your Granny's cooking. The different kinds of tasty porridges, omelettes and pancakes are waiting for you from 5-00 till 11-00 on business days, and from 5-00 till 14-00 on weekends. The lunch menu, with a range suiting various tastes and attractive prices, are available from 12-00 to 16-00 on business days. It's really important: we have changed our opening hours - we are open round the clock! So, we are happy to see you for wake-up after-party breakfasts! Your Soup cafe!"

Very nice place to have a light dinner and relax after hard day. Wide selection of the soups (we tried four different each was great). I wish waiters spoke better English, but we managed ;)

Been here with a colleague during a business trip, we dropped in by pure occasion. First of all, soups are, indeed, tasty, personnel friendly and with a good sense of humor, prices are well within 'reasonable' range bearing in mind location of the cafe. Wine is OK (I did not see anything noticeably better in more expensive places). Altogether a... More

There were two big advantages for me: I like soups, I like Tai soups and cheese soup! Thank you for the possibility to choose the set of soups! And there was a season of Beaujolais Nouveau! It was fantastic and so nice after the hard working day!

Soup is the traditional meal of Russian cuisine. "Depending on the quality soups can be assessed quality of chefs". Soup Cafe Restaurant is in the lower ground floor of the house and you have to sneak next door to the WC that you can smell sometimes. The restaurant consists of several spaces. In first one often emerge local DJ, in... More

This was our first meal in Russia, had a warm welcome, and despite language barrier we given details about the different soups. Both went for the trio / taster - definitely recommended. Good music and layout.

We were staying in a hotel just around the corner and we stumbled upon this little beauty! It's named cyn cafe, just to make you aware. We found the food to be extremely delicious and well prepared, plus the service was very efficient and friendly. For me, the tiger shrimp in a salmon basket was the pick of our dishes,... More

The soups were good, and reasonably priced. Would have given it a 4, but I made the mistake of ordering a Darjeeling tea, which came in a pot. 300 Rub. That's $9!!! It was virtually the same price as my three-soup main dish. Some will say: you should have looked at the menu. Sure, but still: $9 for a pot... More

We found that Soup Cafe was just around the corner from our hotel (Sleep box, which I also highly recommend) and decided to try it. The menu was very diverse despite the name with many options for salad, pasta, grilled meats and of course soup! My partner had a burger which looked great, he completely cleaned his plate so it... Staying in Presnensky

Neighborhood Profile
Presnensky
The neighborhood is divided into two major halves by Krasnaya Presnya street: the southern part highlights Moscow city – businesses contained in skyscrapers along with the White House - where the Russian government works. The north is a bit more relaxed and casual, visitors here will find the Moscow zoo, National Centre for Contemporary Arts and a number of fine restaurants. The beautiful neo-gothic Cathedral of the Roman Catholic Church of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary is usually packed with the events such as organ music concerts.
