If you fancy a soup this place is for you!

Variety of soup dishes from traditional russian to exotic tai. even the desserts are made like soups (chocolate soup for example). There are also a number of salads and hot dishes if you like.

Soup is the traditional meal of Russian cuisine. "Depending on the quality soups can be assessed quality of chefs". Soup Cafe Restaurant is in the lower ground floor of the house and you have to sneak next door to the WC that you can smell sometimes. The restaurant consists of several spaces. In first one often emerge local DJ, in... More

This was our first meal in Russia, had a warm welcome, and despite language barrier we given details about the different soups. Both went for the trio / taster - definitely recommended. Good music and layout.

We were staying in a hotel just around the corner and we stumbled upon this little beauty! It's named cyn cafe, just to make you aware. We found the food to be extremely delicious and well prepared, plus the service was very efficient and friendly. For me, the tiger shrimp in a salmon basket was the pick of our dishes,... More

The soups were good, and reasonably priced. Would have given it a 4, but I made the mistake of ordering a Darjeeling tea, which came in a pot. 300 Rub. That's $9!!! It was virtually the same price as my three-soup main dish. Some will say: you should have looked at the menu. Sure, but still: $9 for a pot... More

We found that Soup Cafe was just around the corner from our hotel (Sleep box, which I also highly recommend) and decided to try it. The menu was very diverse despite the name with many options for salad, pasta, grilled meats and of course soup! My partner had a burger which looked great, he completely cleaned his plate so it... Recently ate 'business lunch' here. When entering the restaurant my first thought was that it might be more pricey than I had been told, due to upmarket feel of the place. However, the lunch deal was exceptionally good value and much more tasty than similar offerings at other restaurants in the centre. The ham and pea soup was delicious and... More

My first meal on a late Thursday evening in Moscow. The Cafe is cozy and was bustling with young people - seemingly all of them on Apple laptops. Apparently, Muscovites love soup and there were multitudes to choose from so unless you hate soup you'll find something you like. Fortunately for me, I was accompanied by young Russians who did...
