The hotel may have lived to its standard may is now completely over rated. The service is as poor as the commodities and seems to belong to old memories. Prices are nowhere near what they should be.

I had a dinner at the restaurant that was pretty much empty at 7:30 pm but started to fill later on - including a wedding party that stopped by for a dessert reception and cake. The Belle Époque restaurant with a small fountain in the middle and period decor and lovely ambiance including candle in the table and a low... More

Could be great if breakfast and staff there in are bit better. We were met every morning by girls serving on who did nothing but giggle and didn't do their jobs . Food was ok but waiting much of time for replenishments and tables were scarce. You should not have to share tables, fetch cups and saucers yourself in this... More

We've been forced to have dinner in the hotel. The place/environment is old style but very nice. The service is prompt but cold and far from customer need. The food is good but extremely expensive.

Their food was pretty good and the service. They served authentic russian dishes. I liked how they served and prepared it. The ambiance is romantic and perfect for dates too

The restaurant was closed for a private event, so we ate in the bar, which serves the same food. I had the grilled chicken and vegetables (about 1000 Rubles/$30) and my husband had the asparagus soup (a little over 500 Rubles/$15). It took about 45 min to an hour to get the food, which was overly salted. My chicken was... More

Had group meal with arranged by Scenic Travel, said to be fine dining BUT it was sub Harvesters'( UK chain of family restaurants) starter was reasonable, what we call Russian salad , but main course was unacceptable cold chips and frozen vegetables served with acceptable pork. Dessert was again Harvester quality. Definitely worth visiting to view the decor but do... More

I ate very nice blini and a ribeye here, although I was alone among very few other diners. It is a tad expensive, but the service is very attentive and the food good. Ambience varied "Russian style" from playing very beautiful classical music to some sort of German 70s synthpop the next. A good option.

Great place to stay and explore Mosow close to all major attractions and Bolshoi Theatre. Roms were spacious and clean. Restaurant average and bar service downstairs was an effort for them to serve you. Open fire was never lit either which added to lack of atmosphere. Tour guide that the hotel arranged was great Maria or Masha is her name.... More
