Loved it

Lovely place, right in the city centre, but off the main road in an absolutely quiet side-street. Lovely terrace to enjoy in summer. Lovely place, right in the city centre, but off the main road in an absolutely quiet side-street. Lovely terrace to enjoy in summer. Very simple and stylish interior design, Scandinavian style with loft of rustique wood and muted colours. I suppose that it's popular with expats. Great for business meeting, friends' hangout and romantic outing. The menu is concise, but... More

In the summer, this is an excellent place to enjoy the company of friends. In the winter, it's still a great restaurant, but lacks a bit of the 'different' that the garden terrace offers. Excellent burgers, and the coldest rose wine in Moscow! The service is always excellent, and the types of people that visit here are generally very sociable.... More

Had a meal here one evening with my wife and enjoyed the experience. Located just off the main shopping street and not obviously sign posted so don't give up if you can't immediately find it. Made to feel very welcome from the start, coats were taken and we were given our choice of table. The menu offers a good range... More

Few steps of Tverskaya street you can find this Scandinavian restaurant with a garden part which is a real surprise especially during the hot Moscow summer days. You can sit under the trees and relax from the noise of the city. Small but nice menu with Scandinavian dishes in excellent quality. Attentive service with lots of English-speaking waiters from Scandinavia.... More

I visited Scandinavian on recommendation of staff in the hotel I am staying in nearby, the food was pretty amazing, 5 types of herring for starter with reindeer for main, both were beautifully presented and full of flavour, staff made sure there were drinks to match the dishes and a nice Beluga vodka to cleanse the pallet after!

I visited this place by accident, and I must say that I was positively surprised. Of course did I have the Swedish meatballs. They where quite good, not as my grandma but close :) Atmosphere and service is good. And the prices are very moderate, comparing to general Moscow prices. I will come back !

It is their garden that draw the attention, but their good service and food with the Scandinavian / International touch is a great combination when you will relax a few steps away from Tverskaya. The Head Chef, Jonas Grip, stand behind some great food at the main restaurant too. If your up for something special, make a visit and enjoy... More

One of my favorite restaurants in Moscow. Experienced, well trained wait staff. Known for their grilled foods but the seafood is also excellent. I usually order the Pelle Jansen appetizer. This is steak tartare with a raw egg. The herring assortment is also very good. An excellent way to wake up the appetite for dinner. The meats are cooked to... More

Less than a mile from Red Square, very well priced. Out door seating, food great, service great. Drinks expensive but that seems to be the case everywhere in Moscow. Would recommend!!!

I visited Scandinavia a couple of times on this trip. Excellence outside dining during the summer months. Great service, good drink selection and Woodbridge Red wine which I enjoy. Prices good. Friendly staff. Close to the Grand Marriott where I stay. Variety of foods and everything I've had was good. Worth a visit.
