This restaurant definitely has great food and service. We have eaten in many of the best restaurants in the United States and in many cities around the world and this one definitely ranked among the best The taste as well as presentation was fabulous. If you want a special meal while in Moscow, try Cafe Pushkin.

Three of us went to Cafe Pushkin for a last night splurge in Moscow. (Actually all of Moscow is a splurge given the cost of everything!) We had a lovely evening. The recently renovated building looks authentically 19th century, the wait staff is dressed in period style but without looking Disney-ish. We had a lovely meal and some quite nice,... More

Perfect expensive romantic evening. Best beef stroganoff in the world and wonderful Russian pelmeni and pies.

We were looking for a nice authentic Russian meal experience and our hotel the Baltschug Kempinski stated they sent all their guests to Cafe Pushkin. We arrived with high expectations which were met by the sumptuous rustic interior of old aristocrats mansion, complete with faded walls, old antiques etc. 90 minutes we (two of us) left with a wallet a... People say service is nice, I think it is overwhelming. Food is not so good either especially concidering the prices. Please stay away from cutlets or any other dish containing processed meet. The mansion Pushkin occupies is very nice and centrally located but I think restaurant is so much more than that.

We learned of this restaurant from Tripadvisor. Ironically - as it's rated #1, the restaurant themselves seem totally unaware that they have this global fame among the social networks as very few people here have internet access (relatively). Anyway, we had a very hard time to find the place. My only negative comment would be that we could not find... More

Cafe Pushkin is indeed a "treasure cove" , with beautifully designed interiors, and an ambience that makes it unique. The restaurant is a very cozy space, with walls and bookcases adorned with rows of old leather binded books. The staff are pretty helpful, even if they might lack a bit on the english language skills, which is a normality for... More

Must see restaurant for tourist. Russian food served perfectly. It's expensive but not over Moscow standarts.

Let's face it, Cafe Pushkin is a tourist restaurant. It is absolutely not the Russian's best, nor Moscow's. However, it is not a bad restaurant either. Pushkin is not a gourmet restaurant, there are no set menus, and portions are quite big (compared to the typical fine dining restaurant). Soups are available both normal and small so you can take...
