One of the best meals ever. We were treated all the time like Hollywood superstars. Roasted and smoked Sterlet was from heaven. Like the vodka and wine menu aswell. Amazing!

From the moment you step into this restaurant you are treated like royalty. Downstairs to deposit your coat and then into the restaurant. The menu is extensive with many excellent Russian food on offer. The little pies offered as a small starter are excellent - would recommend the pickled vegetable variety. The olivier salad (traditional Russian) offered by the waiter... More

A warm recommendation for this beautiful restaurant. Looks old with a lot of old world charm but apparently it's relatively new. It's a pretty big restaurant with a number of floors. The food was out of this world!- We started with a variety of typical Russian appetizers, including the Piroshky that were filled with cabbage, mushrooms or meat. Then we... More

We went to Moscow on a package tour but on strong recommendation of one of our group members, we made a special trip to have lunch at this famed restaurant before our departure from the country. It has got an old world charm and the layout and ambience were excellent though I thought the lighting condition was a little dim... More

Our hotel advised us to go to Cafe Pushkin, which we did. A reservation is definitely needed and the hotel was able to get us, with some difficulties, a nice table. A very classy atmosphere and attentive service. in a beautiful decorated dining room. Guests are well dressed. We had some traditional Russian dishes like Beef Stroganoff and the food... More

Great spot! I went with Russian colleagues and friends and we had a great night in a relaxed atmosphere which I really enjoyed. The food was excellent and the service first class. Russian dishes which I really love.

This review isn't about quality of food they serve, which is quite good, though a bit overpriced, nor snobbish waiters and à la russe atmosphere. What I want to bring to your attention is a fraudulent scheme you may become a victim of. In October I've visited this restaurant with a large group of my colleagues from different European countries.... More

Dear Mister Alexander, Please allow me to thank you for taking the time sharing your experience on Tripadvisor. I am delighted to read you enjoyed our Chef's cuisine and highlighted it. I won't hide my confusion regarding your vision of a "practise" towards the aperitif , should I read your comment over, I see that our waiter offered the drinks... More

When I go for a nice meal I look for great service, great food, great presentation and a great ambiance. Very rarely do you get all of those but I must say Cafe Pushkin fulfilled all of them. We had a really great meal and are so glad we went. We went on Saturday 8th November 2014 and would suggest... More

I've been loving their delicious creations for many years, and I kept on going back year after year, but with decreasing intensity - and for many years, this used to be my favourite restaurant in town. Nowadays, it is no more my favourite, but this is not due to their (still wonderful) cuisine, but rathe to the curse of its... More
