Moscow is known for her super-duper expensive restaurants and mediocre food. This one is an exception. I mean, yes, it is super-duper expensive, but the food is absolutely delicious. French meets Russian Imperial cuisine. The service is attentive, trying to anticipate your moves. The design is very nice too. Expect to spend in excess of $300 for two. Definitely worth... More

We really like Cafe Pushkin, normally. The management at least tries to pretend to care about food quality and high service levels. But, management has let a sour server on to the floor and he spoiled our very expensive meal. I informed management the day after because I didn't want to make a scene in front of our client but... The evening we went the split between tourists and Russians seemed about even. We had a great evening, the food was excellent, service was good and the price was high but not stupid. A recommendation from the concierge at our Hotel (Lotte - see another review) which turned out well. We took a Hotel car (700rbs). The menu is varied... More

Was recommended by American business associate to visit Cafe Pushkin during my stays in Moscow. A very classice design and elegant setting, also some local celebrities were dining there. Service is good and food is not bad. Worth to visit!

Cafe Pushkin seems to cater to tourists, but in the best possible way. The decor is classic and warm, the wait staff speak English and are really helpful, and the food is simple and delicious. Just an incredibly comfortable place to while away an afternoon or evening in Moscow. But be prepared to pay for it!

We were told by our hotel concierge to try this establishment. It was a great suggestion as we found out after we sank our teeth into our appetizer! The atmosphere is great with a coat check downstairs. The service is great and the food is excellent! Price is reasonable and we avoided the water by ordering beers and wine! If... More

PUSHKIN is a quite typical tourist attraction like Red Square and Kremlin. I would say it exists in the same niche as "MAXIM" in Paris. Сonsidering that unlike France the history of Russian restaurants re-started only 25 years ago Pushkin deserved its place in top-list of Russian classic restaurants. Menu is the hybrid of "Russia we have lost" and "New... More

The end game is that we had a lovely, romantic, unique meal at Pushkin. The desserts were especially special. Definitely save room! Ours were meticulously prepared. The only thing that put a dampener on the night was that we fell for the "water trick" that other reviewers mentioned. It goes something like this; you choose the water you want (there... More

A colleague who lives in Moscow recommended Cafe Pushkin. I fell in the love with the place the moment I walked in from the decor to the food. The waitstaff was attentive but not obtrusive, decent selection of wines and most importantly enjoying Russian food with a French influence. The lemon sole was cooked to perfection and the cheburki was... More
