Russian fine dining. Delicious food with excellent service, a real treat on our trip to Moscow. We had lunch in the library which had a great atmosphere.

Wonderful experience and well looked after - The Zander is recommended. Wonderful setting, wonderful service, wonderful memories. The cost is comparable to the service you expect and we came away with what we perceived to be worth every rubble.

best traditional russian dishes I had in Moscow in a historic and elegant setting:perfect flavors and fresh. The service is impeccable. English menus are available. Must try the Borsch, xolodets, rastegai, sturgeon, olivie salad, syrnitki.

Traditional Russian food and exquisite deserts. Not cheap and rather pompous. Can get a little overcrowded and you are likely to get seated VERY close to the neighboring table.

I booked a nice dinner here as a surprise and were seated in the upstairs library. I think that a reservation is needed to sit in the upstairs area as it is quite an atmospheric and beautiful room. The portions are small, which is great as the idea is to try different things on the menu. The menu itself is... More

This historic restaurant offers the chance to dine out in full Russian style. The food and service are impeccable, with delicious and beautifully presented dishes that have prices to match the elegant setting. The ground floor is styled like an old pharmacy, complete with apothecary's bottles and scales, while the exclusive second floor is set in a handsome classical library.... More

Staying in Tverskaya

Neighborhood Profile
Tverskaya can’t be discovered with just a first glance, the neighborhood is shaped around a long street populated with well-known shops and brands. But it’s more than shopping that makes this place interesting. Take a few steps into the streets running parallel to the main artery to discover the charm just behind the mighty Stalinist style architecture. Comfy European pedestrian streets Bolshaya Dmitrovka or Stoleshnikov lane are a great place to start. Locals can be found here working, eating, shopping, resting and going to the Bolshoi Theatre in the evening.
