We walked in for lunch on a Saturday in August and it was not busy. Our waiter was personable Maxim who spoke very good English and was attentive and helpful. The seasonal watermelon cocktails were very good. The menu was in English and French, but the interpretation of the food was not accurate. Our starters of a mushroom dish and... More

Second time to come to this Moscow institution, this time on the ground floor. More touristy and casual feel there then the upper floors, which I actually prefer. Food was as good as always, totally classic, loved the caviar and blinis, the grilled fish was excellent, so was the caramel dessert. Service was better on the upper floor too. Some... More

My Moscow tour guide took me for a business lunch menu at Café Pushkin. It was a great experience, excellent food at a reasonable price for a high class restaurant. If I go back to Moscow I will go back again.

Classic historical Russian restaurant. Borscht, meat pies, and stroganoff. Service attentive, and staff worked well together. A short stroll back to our hotel.

I have been to this restaurant in Moscow and I found it to be one of my best experiences in the city. The place is very historical and decorated very nicely from the entrance to downstairs where you check your coat, the cave where the bathrooms are to the different dinning areas everything is like a museum excursion. We had... More

My Russian friend told me that all of the guests seemed to be foreigners so maybe it is designed for tourists but what the heck - it is a great restaurant with great food and great service - what more could you want. I loved the decor and I loved the Russian food plate that I selected. Well recommended !

It is a classy historical Russian restaurant. Serving was excelent, waiters were elegant and kind.We really enjoyed our Beef straganof and meatballs with their special sauce on it. Deserts were extraordinary and everybody should try 'Pushkin Special Desert'. Prices are little bit too much but it is worthed for this great kitchen!! If you want to spoil your stomach and... More

An amazing place , takes you back in time and your breath away . But ultimately it is about the food, which was not great . Starter lacked imagination and main course of stroganoff was ok but not as good as the one I had for a third of the price the next day in a cafe down the road.... More

Wonderful atmosphere. Our waiter, Georgi, was attentive , helpful ,yet unobtrusive, in perfect balance with the multiple strong personalities at our table. Every bite was a delightful experience.

Go there every time I'm in Moscow. The service is superb (have troubles because I didn't made a reserve, but the staff worked it out to a very high standard, so thanks guys...), the food is even better, and the atmosphere is awesome. For business people like me is always a pleasure in having a place like this. Well done... More
