Very tasty, sometimes service slow

I have been in Café Pushkin several times now and I really love the place. Most of the time service is very good, sometimes little bit slow, especially when the place is crowded. Most of the time the food is very fresh, but last time we had a macaron that was kind of sticky and not fresh anymore... read more

This place has many high reviews but I went here more for the decor then food. The service was great and the place looks really old. They have this really good original elevator which was worth taking a quick ride from the coat check downstairs to upstairs. The bar looks like and old something out of the movies. I have... More

After buying our tickets to Moscow, my first attempt was to look for Pushkine Café on the web (for sure because of the famous song "Nathalie"). I found the nice web site of the restaurant, but then I discovered that the restaurant was not an old one and it was created and named after the song. Well, I read reviews... More

This is the place to outline the social status for the rich, their children, government officials, public figures. Ordinary people should go there if they did not have time to visit the social habitat or terrarium. Expensive, snobbish, not democratic, for boast, to show-off. Kitchen is worthy.

I brought a group of business colleagues to this restaurant for their first taste of Russian cuisine. I can honestly say that this is my "go-to" place for introducing people to traditional Russian food in Moscow. All of our dishes were delicious. The prices aren't outrageous either (which you'll find in some other Russian restaurants). And for the non-adventurous types,... More

We were sitting on the second floor of the restaurant and the decorations reminded of Hogwards library. The place itself is very nice, the service is good. However the food wasn't as delicious as it costs.

If you want to feel atmosphere of 19th century, culture and food during Russian-french relations that is the place you need. Very delicios food, home made vodkas and liquiros are delicious. Russian soups you may die for!! Highly recommended at least once

The building, interior and ambience of the Cafe Pushkin are difficult to beat. The food was very good (although not excellent) and I believe you pay for the location and experience more than the actual food itself (the presentation was 1st class, but the actual quality was not as good as the presentation suggested). Service was good but not excellent.... More
