I have just been to see that changed after one year renovation. Simply - THIS IS G R E A T !! Well done Mr Architect :)) It is so well combined - ancients wooden decorations with some minimalists white accents. Wow :) Menu does not make you mouth watering while reading. Very short. But when the plates are coming... More

You will feel like you have been transported to another era in this beautifully appointed restaurant with the indoor architecture of another era. The costumed waiters showed us the ultimate care and professionalism, from the presentation of the menu to the serving of the beverages and delivery of the dishes with flair and unobtrusive subtlety at once, not a very... A mish-mash of styles in it's different halls, the interiors of the restaurant may be a somewhat allegory of fin de siècle and revolutionary Russian culture itself - varying from neo-gothic art-nouveau up to early abstractionism and cubo-futurism. Of course, such interiors never promise an exceptional cuisine. One comes here, in the Central Home of Literators to gaze, not to... More

We ent there with my BF to celebrateFebruary 14th. The food is absolutely dreat, as well as the presentation. The waiter gave us a small tour around the restaurant, that was nice. The interior is beautiful. Once a life you need to come there!

Amazing interiors which replicate the splendor of the Silver Age of Russian culture. The fire place makes for a warm cozy atmosphere. Had some great soups that reall hit the spot on a cold day. Service was very professional by all the staff. Very friendly.

This is an amazing experience, a very traditional imperial Russian restaurant with a stunning interior. I think it's important to start from the building. It used to be the heart of Russia's artistic and cultural life, the reason we came there is because it features heavily in the novel "Master and Margarita" by Mikhail Bulgakov. In addition to gorgeous surroundings,... More

The building is poorly marked so make sure your driver knows where it is. Once inside it is impressive. The food was good but the service was slow. make sure you have tea, as you will never have tea served to you like Edgar does. Although gratuities are an option in Moscow our server had the boldness to ask for... More
