“Khachapuri” is a city café with Georgian food, it is the café with food free of any complications and banalities of national symbols. Here you would find neither plastic imitations of grapes on the walls, nor bundles of garlic hanging of the ceiling, nor a thick menu draped in leather with thousands of meals, nor the Tiflis style stone stairs. But you will always find fresh food, parties with lots of fun, hospitable hosts and mountains of delicious food.

Casual, tasty and won't send you bankrupt

Casual, friendly, lively, tasty, inexpensive - great place to spend time with friends or family. Can be busy at dinner time or on weekends, booking a table could be a good idea. The restaurant is hidden in a residential district and located in a pedestrian-only area

My colleague and I ate here twice. The menu offers a lot of variety, so we tried everything from soups to lamb, meatballs to khachapuri, and it was all excellent. They also have some great wines in house, both semi-sweet and dry. I would heartily recommend anyone in Moscow coming here, especially if you are near the Europeisky Mall area.

I still love the place, but I'm sure they loose a track a bit. Khachapuri used to be tastier and you basically got more for what you pay. Still a nice place, but now the very typical Russian word "khaltura" will be very much appropriate. They need to recover the quality and service and they get back.

Whilst not the most exciting place inside, the food is great. Not so great is the Moscow habit of reserving tables for phantom guests whilst making others wait for no reason!

Really nice cosy interior with a pianist playing and an open kitchen. The food was one of the best I had in Russia and was an absolute bargain. The khachapuri was amazing and the beef so well cooked. We also had a bottle of Georgian wine which was unique to try as we have never had it before. I would... More

Was here in October 2013. My last night in Moscow was at this fantastic restaurant. Although we got lost looking for the place and nearly gave up (took a right turn instead of going straight ahead and wandered for about 1 1/2 hours) we found it just as we were about to head back to the Metro. Service was friendly... More
