Description: “Khachapuri” is a city café with Georgian food, it is the café with food free of any complications and banalities of national symbols. Here you would find neither plastic imitations of grapes on the walls, nor bundles of garlic hanging of the ceiling, nor a thick menu draped in leather with thousands of meals, nor the Tiflis style stone stairs. But you will always find fresh food, parties with lots of fun, hospitable hosts and mountains of delicious food.

It’s a great place for a Sunday lunch with family and friends. I have visited the place a couple of times already and tried several dishes on the menu – which is extensive and inviting. Recommendations include the Khachapuli – Cheese stuffed bread, any of the lamb dishes and the awesome minty lemonade to wash the food down. Do be... More

A little difficult to locate...Walk down towards left of the kievskaya Metro and right inside the park is a small (overflowing with people) even on a weekday. Excellent menu suggestion and really good Georgian food - spicy and tasty - quite like indian food. Worth a try for sure. Inside is stuffy though. We were lucky to get a seat... More

If you want to try the best Georgian food go to Khachapuri. The waitress was very kind and helped us to choose fantastic dishes and drinks. Everything we tried (10 people) was marvelous! Khachapuri with cheese, egg, meat, spinach; fantastic khinkali with meat and mushrooms, aubergines with nuts, chicken in nut sauce, kebab, meatballs. You should try delicious honey-tart, sorbet... Go for the atmosphere – it’s one of the best in Moscow but the food is just above average for the price. The Food: The cuisine is exceptional. The food is a contemporary take on georgian cuisine. They offer delicious fare that showcases regional meats and sauces that are easily paired with the restaurants’ wine offerings.. My travel companion and... More

If you eat here once during your time in Moscow, I defy you not to return! The food is marvelous and the atmosphere is lively and friendly. I came back a second night with three French friends and they were as excited by the cuisine as I was. The service is adequate but one comes here for the food. Two... More

This was our first taste of Georgian food and we loved it! We had a hard time finding the restaurant at first. After exiting the metro, you need to turn left, cross the street, walk towards a bunch of trees and the restaurant is in the middle of the park. As with everywhere in Russia, there's no A/C so the... One of the best places in Moscow to try Georgian cuisune in terms of price/quality. The atmosphere is also very democratic and friendly. Don't expect anything cozy or chic, it's not that kind of a place. If you want just great food and fun this is the right place, if you need super comfort and black tie waiters don't go.

Lavash in garlic was the best dish. Veal kebab, pea soup and nettle soup were very well done. Tomato salad very fresh. Couldn't complain about the food at all. Service was slow and not great as per most Russian restaurants. Waiter appeared to be in a bad mood. However the food more than made up for it.

We love Georgian food and after seeing Khachupuri listed on TA as number 1 in Moscow, we decided to give it a try. Don't go without a reservation - but do go with an appetite. The food is excellent, the atmosphere is fun, but the service is a little spotty. All told, top of our Moscow list!
