This was my first time at Georgian restaurant and it did not disappoint. Food was great tasting, portions are generious, fantastic service and nice decor. Highly recommended.

Good food, but not cheap (it is Moscow after all). And make sure you have enough cash - they don't take credit cards.

The food was interesting, with a focus on traditional Georgian fare. Unfortunately, having visited Georgian restaurants before at home in London with very similar menus, the execution here was average at best.

The food is very delicious and tasty but of the simple kind. The staff is service minded and friendly. Above all however the place is cosy and warm.

We had a dinner at Saperavi Cafe in the Pokrovka street, was it part of the same chain? It was brand new, very small, almost like eating at homebody's home. The best kachapuri since years, fresh and authentic, verygood kebab, lovely and very attentive service and avove all, a splendid saperavi - black, full of fruits, dense, your nose in... More

It looks like a simple cafe not a restaurant. So maybe it's not for very special occasiton, but it's a very nice place for normal lunch or dinner. Traditional georgian cuisine was very tasty (achma, khachapuri, khinkali), but i haven't try modern cuisine. Service was not so fast and during the lunch-tme you have to wait for bill and your... Concerning previous reviews : they do sell wine, and good one. It's even part of their decoration and I don't think bringing your wine would be appreciated :) about a posh place, I really don't thing it is. Maybe the waitress was on a bad mood ? Anyway for my experience, the waiter was fantastic, trying to speak some English... More

We ordered only couple of beers and no food and after 15 min waiting, the waitress came to say that they don't have any beer. We then left the place, but thought the window we could see the other tables drinking the same beer we tried to order.

The food is outstanding. We had a variety of different dishes and they were consistently excellent. You can walk in but it's probably best to call ahead. They serve beer, but we had hoped for Georgian wine and discovered that they allow you to bring your own as they don't have a license for liquor or wine.

I leave nearby, so Saperavi is one of my first choices for a casual dinner with my husband or brunch with friends. Hachapuri is absolutely delicious. Tsinandali white wine is always good (I even know people who return here for that). I would say that some portions are too small (for example, atsetsili, baked eggplants) but in general it is...
