Georgian food is the best!

I am a French girl living in Moscow and Georgian food is my favorite food in the region. This restaurant is one of the best for Georgian cuisine: food is amazing, wine is good, prices are reasonable, the room is a bit noisy but just as you wish (southern style!). I strongly recommend this place... read more

Great place to have a meal and rest from the rat race. The meals are huge and so delicious. The seating is good. The menu is well priced with plenty of choices

It seems to be very busy, all the tables were taken but we had booked fortunately. Staff speak English which helps. Delicious starters and katchapuri to die for. Wonderful dumplings. Would go again and work through the menu.

We were seated outdoors and it was cozy and relatively quiet. The service was not top notch, but it was not expected to be at his type of place. It was adequate. The appetizers were excellent, as was khachapuri and khinkali. The lula kebob and lamb chops were 4/5. The atmosphere was "home cooking", simple design, not pretentious. Recommended.

Simple place great atmosphere, normal food bad service... As simple as that!!! Ordered cold russian soup, salad, cheese bread, and what i thought it would be chicken tapaka (georgian style chicken) but too bad it had nothing to do with what i expected or what the waiter explained... Overall average!!!

Once again big thanks to this place and staff for another lovely evening. Very good selection of georgian wines for affordable prices, cheap delicious snacks and great georgian dishes. Also great atmosphere as ever, this time very good pianist. Hopefully returning here soon!

Hachapuri is an easy 18min walk from Red Square, just nice to build up an appetite. English menus are available and the staff spoke decent English and made great recommendations. We had the Kudari - Khachapuri with meat for starters, a nice fried pancake, and for mains, Batumi-style beef (must-try) and Veal filled with tomato and sweet onion (recommended). Mid-way... More

It wasn't the food that necessarily made it average. It was the lack of attention. Granted I got food poisoning but it happens. Not blaming them. 2nd time this occurred on this Russian trip. Walked in and stood around for at least 5-10 minutes while staff looked over on occasion. Finally decided to seat myself. Another 10-15 minutes until finally... More

Very tasty Georgian food, a unique experience. Very similar to Turkish cuisine....could be a bit noisy as the restaurant is always full, who cares as long as you good tasty food at reasonable prices...
