A very nice and cozy restaurant in good location. The service is very polite and efficient. The cuisine is somewhere between Azeri and European, well-prepared and tasty, although a little bit heavy in my point of view. Lovely interiors are the main forte of the place. I especially loved an impromptu organic food market on the first floor, as well... More

This restaurant is a firm favourite. Nice atmosphere, intimate feel without the tables being too close together. Food is very good. The baku tomato and home made cheese salad with fresh herbs deserves special mention. Absolutely delicious. The khatchapuri too is very good and extremely decadent. Two thumbs up!

Stephen Colbert once quipped that he couldn't decide between Italian and Chinese, so he split the difference and ordered Azerbaijani food. Well, just a short stroll from Moscow's famed Bolshoi Theatre, this conflicted New Yorker would have found his prize in Barashka. As a first-time diner of Azerbaijani cuisine, it is strange to say this, but I felt as if... More

I've been to several Barashka's in Moscow and one should give them credit for being consistent: the quality of service and cuisine is pretty much uniform across this small chain. To give it a brief review, one might say that if you want a solid quality dinner experience with no thrills, this is your place. Some advice and warning though...... More

A small restaurant compared to some but the food is great. Sashlik kebabs traditional meats all very good. You must book to get a seat . Easy to get to if near red square 10 minutes walk.

Seating a bit narrow. Food simple but therefore often brilliant. A place I enjoy and like. More for meat than fish fanciers.

Very comfortable atmosphere for dinner. Service was attentive but the door really sets this place apart. Excellent range of dishes and wines. Overall quality dining experience.

Place is nice, service good and english speaking. The food is 4 stars on 5. The Dishes (traditional russian and international) are abundant and price range from 500 to 1500 Rubles. What was amazing was 600 Rubles for a bottle of water. I didn't pay so much even in Monaco. Probably they want you drink only sangria!
