Good place for take away. Puff pastries filled with cream are very good - fresh, tasty and go in several options - regular or green tea cream with different shell's pastry - crunchy or soft. They also serve chocolate fondant, some sandwiches as well as tea and various coffees. As they have only seating places and quality of teas is... More

One more chain of pastry and sandwiches in Moscow - this time, focused on creamy puffs - crunchy or soft, with green tea, chocolate and vanilla flavour, sold separately and in boxes. It serves hot sandwiches, ice tea and coffee, as well. My negative opinion on it was made when I slipped on the wet floor and almost fell -... More

A great place to treat yourself with good coffe and the best puff pastry. We took the coffe and a box of pastries To-Go back to our hotel to have just before our flight back! (Next time we'll go for the green tea filling...it looked yummy as well).

Truthfully, I'm writing this middling review simply to balance out the previous reviews of greatness, which had Beard Papa's at #10 of all food places in Moscow. Beard Papa's is certainly a small pleasure, but with an emphasis on the word "small". It is a worldwide chain (I've actually had better Beard Papa's cream puffs in NYC) and you can... More

Yes, we see anywhere in big super markets this shop in Tokyo, and glad to have them in Moscow! I think taste is close to those we have in Japan. Our kids are glad to eat them in special celebration days in Moscow. By the way, cream puff is called "shoe cream" in Japan that you never eat, but in... More

What are these people doing inventing these beautiful profiterole! It must have been french, italian or at least american to make it taste soooo good. I am truly amazed. And I don't know anybody who can resist one. Cafe inside is really small, but they do offer tea/coffee which you can have with your precious profiterole.

I first saw them in London and was sad to know Moscow doesn't have those. And they have finally opened several places in Moscow! And if you don't like cream puffs, after you try one of theirs, you'll wonder how you lived without them all your life. Yes, they're that good :D

I found about Beard papa's last winter after they opened their first Moscow shop on Gogolevsky bulvard 6. The Japanese making something very French (puffs filled with vanilla cream)... the idea sounded a bit weird at first. They were so good though! Light and crispy dough. The cream is cool, smooth and very rich with its natural vanilla aroma. Beard... More
