Indigo is an Indian restaurant located in Cluj-Napoca - the heart of Transylvania. If you are a gourmand Indigo should be on your must visit list. Indian cuisine is as much about hot and spicy food as are its aromatic dishes which are completely non-spicy. If you like your food tasty but not spicy, try the Malai Tikka - cubes of chicken marinated in caju, smantana, cheese, ginger and garlic paste with salt. For those who like it mildly spicy, equivalent to a spicy European-Romanian dish, try the spinach curry with Branza Indian. This is one dish people from Cluj love the most as it is right in the middle of the spiciness scale. The few who like to sweat it out, we have the Vindaloos and Madras curries from the South and West of India. Surely they will leave a lingering taste on your tongue long after you have finished eating them. Whatever be your taste, ask us. We will dish it up to your liking.

Great variety of spices

This place probably serves the most aromatic and spiced food in Cluj-Napoca. It does feel indian, the food tastes great, portions are generous, but I discovered I'm not such a great fan of indian food. They're just too many spices, too different aromas coming together and I can't enjoy them all... read more

They had great Indian food. I went with a group of five and we order a good portion of the menu. We were all pleased. Also, if you want a little after dinner entertainment, this street is full of bars.

The food is good(ish) but the place is kinda dirty and needs a re paint. There were flies on the room and the service is low from some of the staff.

Nice restaurant with specific Hindi food. We tried several things (vegetarian), and enjoyed them all. The prices are a bit high, but I suppose it's because there are few restaurants of this kind here. We would certainly go back again when we go to Cluj!

Piezisa str is known as full of bars for students, but this restaurant somehow finds the place here and it is quite full of people. The portions we had were huge. They also have a mobile application for putting the order, so if you want something you don't need to wait for the waiter. We went in a quiet afternoon... More

We have been to many Indian restaurants in various countries and can juge Indian cooking - which we also know from travels to India. The food in this restaurant is partly neither authentic nor tasty. We had limonade (with no pieces of lemon in it), Mango Lassi (where we observed the barmaid making it - with hardly any mango concentrate... More

I've actually just had the soup which exceptionally good. Very spicy and tasty. The service was particularly acceptable. I would recommend this Indigo to people that want to try something different that the regular pizza places in town.
