Nice place!

I like the traditional menu and that they named some of the traditional plates using names of the past great Romanian leaders. At the second floor even the music is Romanian traditional music from Transylvania especially. They even serve the traditional "tuica".

Was here last year in summer with 2 of my friends for an early dinner. From the moment we entered the restaurant you get that warm welcome feeling like you are at home. The staff is dressed traditionally which expresses a bit of the culture in the heart of the Carpathian Mountains. Very tasty food exactly like home.Really enjoyable experience!... More

Good food in a rustic ambiance! Great variety of meats (pork, poultry, beef, fish) and types of foods. Great adaptation of traditional meals to modern times (such as the cheese plateau!)

Located on a nice street not far from the center of town but in a neibourhood of old and new vilas and business centers, very traditional ambience and decorations and with a romanian traditional food menu. Still the food just tries to imitate traditional food, nothing is realy traditional and sometimes not very fresh either. But this is general problem... More

the looks are traditional, the waiters wear traditional dresses and the food is traditional. Portions tend to be huge, we had something called "the Imperial Plate", a very pompous description for a big wooden plate of grilled meat served over a bed of mamaliga (soft polenta) that was the only soft thing on the dish, the meat was plasticky and... Varried menu with traditional dishes. Food a bit dull, not spiced enough, therefore not totally traditional and at least part of it seems uninspired. Very large portions. Service OK but not excellent. Soups are the best part. A bit disappointing.

It's intolerable to be served "traditional" bean soup with pre-boiled ham or kaiser from the super market instead of a whole smoked pork shank. There is a huge difference in cooking with raw meat instead of just buying low quality supermarket salami and use it in Romanian traditional dishes just because it's a little smoked. The only place where pork... More

If you look for something typical romanian, this place is it. The food is great, but careful, the portions can be very big. The waiters are dressed in traditional clothes and are very friendly. Not only the tourists love this place, the locals are also very proud of the Hanul dacilor. Check it out!!!

That restaurant is a small one but it is very nice inside, the design of this place is very interesting, made of wood. I hardly found it while I was driving myself. I was recommended to go there by my Romanian friend . It was OK but I have never wanted to come back there. If you look outside it... More
