Food is okay

Surprisingly, this commercialized La Paz Batchoy store offers the same quality of noodles as those who claim as the "originals." For me that's a good thing because Ted's offer better ambiance to its patrons.

My friend and I were looking for authentic batchoy and some bloggers online recommended Ted's. What Ted's was, was pretty much like a fastfood resto, and there was nothing authentic about the batchoy. Or was I expecting too much since I was in Iloilo? But next time, if I go to Iloilo again, I might try the batchoy in La... More

i have been to the sm city and diversion road branches. it is not the same teds i used to enjoy growing up. but then again we used to go to the la paz market where i'd say it all started. the manapla puto though is still a winner and staff have always been attentive.

Too bad. Lost the taste when it went from a family business to a franchise network. What a waste considering they were the best before while they were still in their original stall in the LaPaz Public Market.

Im used to eating the instant la paz bachoy.. And it's fine by me. Until i tried the real La Paz bachoy. My favorite is the miswa batchoy. My visit to iloilo will always include a visit to Ted's. By the way.. Goes well with puto.

Batchoy should be serve steaming HOT! If the dish ain't hot, you will likely have an intestinal problem. Man, your batchoy is sloppy. It probably has bacteria in it. I had a tummy ache after eating the stuff.

Went to Ted's after some early evening stroll at Esplanade, perfect timing for a hot La Paz Batchoy to compliment a cold empty stomach. Great to have tried Beef Extra and Extra Super for my partner matched with locally-baked pan de sal. Other choices available are Super Special, Beef Miswa, Beef Bihon, Sotanghon Batchoy, Bihon Batchoy ...they also have Namit... More

I always order 'extra super' every time I travel to iloilo. I also order extra chicharon to add to the broth and I also order puto on the side. comfort food on rainy days if only this is available in manila.

It is ok but a bit too local for an American. The stores are everywhere and typically fairly crowded. The one I went to next to SM Delgado had major air conditioning issues and was not that clean.
