Batchoy should be serve steaming HOT! If the dish ain't hot, you will likely have an intestinal problem. Man, your batchoy is sloppy. It probably has bacteria in it. I had a tummy ache after eating the stuff.

Went to Ted's after some early evening stroll at Esplanade, perfect timing for a hot La Paz Batchoy to compliment a cold empty stomach. Great to have tried Beef Extra and Extra Super for my partner matched with locally-baked pan de sal. Other choices available are Super Special, Beef Miswa, Beef Bihon, Sotanghon Batchoy, Bihon Batchoy ...they also have Namit... More

I always order 'extra super' every time I travel to iloilo. I also order extra chicharon to add to the broth and I also order puto on the side. comfort food on rainy days if only this is available in manila.

It is ok but a bit too local for an American. The stores are everywhere and typically fairly crowded. The one I went to next to SM Delgado had major air conditioning issues and was not that clean.

The good thing about Ted's is that its convenient and easy to find in malls and downtown. Unfortunately, despite all the hype, the batchoy does taste a little too 'fastfood' and didn't really stand out from the other restos in Iloilo and even in Manila offering the same. We were a little disappointed, we expected a more flavorful noodle soup... More

I have had batchoy from different resto and Ilongo friends so I know the difference..At this resto, the aroma is good but the sweetish taste of the broth for me is not good. Disappointed ..

If one wants to have a taste of the local noodle soup, Ted's is your best bet. It is a local fast food that's locally owned and run. The batchoy they serve in all branches are pretty consistent. Get the most expensive one and it is still very affordable at only Php75 per bowl. Some branches are hot due to... More

Nothing but the best! Unlimited soup! No one comes close in copying the original! It always makes you feel home.

Food was clean and tasty but I'm looking for the old style thick soup Batchoy. The soup seems like water with bouillon cubes instead of the real bone broth soup.
